@@CodeinCaptainI’ve never seen someone misquote a comment so bad, especially since you can read what he said and he definitely didn’t say Mayer was the best in the world. Still made it to the NFL so Mayer is definitely one of the best. Kincaid better though

@@Meanstreet_5150 Tommy Sweeny left Buffalo for the NY Giants so that's why we picked up Dalton Kincaid in the Draft and he's a HUGE UPGRADE over Sweeny. Believe me he's a MONSTER!

@@Meanstreet_5150 And they will be on the field at the same time giving Josh more weapons. The Chiefs ran multiple tight ends and have a few super bowls to show for it.

I'm bias I'm a Raiders and ND fan so, saw plenty of Mayer and he's amazing...Kincaid not sure, but I don't believe he has the skill sett as Mayer.

You never know with NFL top TE draftees. Kyle Pitt was suppose to be the greatest TE to ever came out of college into the NFL, but his numbers sure doesn't proved what was expected of him. He can't block as well. It is hard to find a good NFL tight end like Kittle or Kelce. Good tight ends are developed in the NFL, they don't just get drafted out of college.

Depends on who they are playing with and the system some times as a lot to do with it! Gronk playing with Brady helped alot, Kelce with Mahomes and Kittle in Shanahan’s system perfect fit. Lets say Pitts landed with Herbert, Burrows, Rogers etc..,, wouldn’t he look like a superstar playing with them??

@@reefb4364 There are more than a dozen backup NFL TE right now who can smokes any of the TE drafted in this year Draft. Even Kyle Pitt would be burnt in a head to head competition against 49ers backup Tight End Ross Dwelley who only cost the 49ers $1.7 million for this upcoming season. I really can't remember the last time Ross Dwelley dropped a ball that touched his hands. Only problem with Ross Dwelley is, like Kyle Pitt, Ross Dwelley can't block either.

Mayer is a good TE with a high floor who doesn’t have the athleticism to be an elite receiving threat. He’s Kyle Rudolph. Kincaid has a much higher ceiling and lower floor. Neither should go before pick 20.

Why not mention the maybe greatest tight end ever, who was a high level college basketball star, who actually plays Mayers position??? Tony Gonzalez.
