Analysis of Singly Reinforced Beam | Limit State Method | IS 456 2000
In this problem analysis of singly reinforced beam is illustrated, here we calculate ultimate moment of resistance for a singly reinforced beam for a given dimensions and for given concrete grade and steel grade, we take help of IS-456-2000 an Indian Standard Code of practice for Reinforced Cement Concrete, go through complete video for better understanding how to calculate moment of resistance for a singly under reinforced beam.

Sir, while calculating effective depth why didn't you subtracted half of the bars from total depth as you have just subtracted effective cover? I saw people subtracting half of the bars like In this example, d(eff) = 700-25-(28÷2) -(25÷2) Why did you just subtracted d' from D why not half bars? I'm so confused Tomarrow is my exam sir pls reply faster😩
