Hello and welcome everybody! What a wonderful weekend this was. Massive respect for the 4 padel players that achived the world record padel. They have played 28 hours in a row! Besides the world record padel event we gave clinics in Belgium, Hasselt. From friday to sunday + a demo match. The demo match was great fun, and we used the highlights of the match for this video.
So today we will point out 4 advanced padel tactics that work really well for advanced padel players.

I love match analysis because it is real world. What is also interesting is to see some common errors which actually happen when playing a match and sometimes we are not even aware of doing them. Good work! Vamos!

Really interesting video, it's fun to see you showing stuff that you've taught in earlier videos in a real match.

Vamos Sven! Can you also do a advanced video on team communication? At 7:23 in the video the guy with Tello on his shirt is watching his partner doing a bandeja, instead of watching the opponent coming into the net and telling his partner that. Would be awesome to have a video on communication!

I would say: highest cat in Holland/belgium. Cat. 1 in marbella. I won some of the 2nd cat tournaments in Marbella. I can win some rounds in cat1 if the price money is not to high :)

This is really good content...you should definetly do more of these....but Ottro you are being cheeky ..only showing your good points...did you win the match? 😀😀 On my way to a match now...will try to counter the Bandejas

When I play a Chiquita and come forward , I feel that we end up having volley battles with the opponent. Suggestions on different ways to handle those would be appreciated

  • @joesepu

Racket always up and quick split steps. For those volley battles focus on blocking more than trying to be aggresive, leave the mistakes to them.

Well.. choose the right time to play the Chiquita. Be at least over the white line with your position. Play soft shots untill you are closer to the net. Very important to slow the chiquita and first volley down to get closer to the net

Did your opponents communicate (much) at all? In many of those it seems they are looking at how their partner is hitting the bandeja/shot. If they were instead looking towards your side they could have told their partner that your side is coming close to the net. That way their partner could have chosen a different shot and perhaps would not have lost those points that easily. At my level, telling your partner where the opponents are in the court, takes time to getting used to. At first I felt stupid saying “back”, “both coming”, “A close” etc. but now I’m better at this and try to encourage my partner to tell me where the opponents are if I’m going to hit a bandeja or defending a ball at the back glass. Not everyone is comfortable speaking it still seems and sometimes the opponent moves quickly so you just don’t realise to communicate :)

Well.. it was a demo match. So it was not as “real” as normal. Otherwise it would be better to say where the player is every single time. I normally do this a lot
