For some clarification, Analog will provide better long range signal, but you have to buy long range antennas and have your gear made for long range flights. So if long range flying is what you want to do then analog is the way to go. Whereas Digital will provide better quality and will be a better flying experience, it will still provide great range for out of the box but won’t beat a long range system. If high quality professional fling is what you need then Digital is the way to go, it will still give you amazing range it just can’t beat a long range system.
Bro said the same thing like, 10 times and called this a video 💀
The best IS the one that suites you, your needs, your style.

Yup you’re exactly right! It all comes down to the use case and need, even if you had the option to have the “best of the best” it might not always be what you need
If you use the high end analog equipment you will also get rather good quality. The most important advantage besides the feed never getting choppy (which can be incredibly disorienting, depending on how choppy it is), which helps to not loose orientation, is the lower latency, which is important if you are either racing or just intend to get incredibly close to things all the time. The often cheaper equipment will also be cheaper to replace since you are getting close to stuff, you should also crash more often and break something more often. Always keep that in mind: Especially with FPV droning, you will be crashing a lot. And since youre also going quick, you will be crashing very hard often. So you not only have to spend money on 1 drone, but spend money on the same couple drones all the time for the same pieces of equipment over and over and over again. If you buy a DJI FPV drone with the rest of its set, crashing will be expensive, so you will likely not want to do maneuvers that are as risky. But the DJI FPV and especially the Avata arent super quick anyway, making it slightly easier to not crash them all the time.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Analog is also used on the battlefield for kamikaze fpv-drones.
Analog can be very good, but you need to invest into good antenna's and a high-end receiver like rapidfire or tbs fusion and a good analog goggle. And these are starting to be harder to get so for starters something like DJI or Walksnail is a very good option. I am just more confident on analog but I am also trying HDZERO out right now which seems to be a good alternative to analog (especially for tiny whoops that usually have very crappy analog camera's), and I can still use my Fatshark goggles, which saves lots of money.
Digital for freestyle and cinematic shots, analog for long range (1.3ghz) flights and professional level racing due to the lower latency. Or just pick what suits best for your needs.
Bro the I’m Zane Shaw keep flying takes me back to when you were 14-15 and just started KZread. Your YT has come a long way!
Analog is awesome. Great for long range.

can you tell me a long range analog setup ?
The cars comparison would be more accurate if compared a normal sports car that has all the luxuries and comfort stuff in comparison to a race car that is much faster but has no comfort whatsoever
Analog is better for aggressive flying and consistent latency except for hdzero. Also getting an audio feed is cool. I'd say if you're serious about FPV you will be crashing a ton and breaking stuff so then replacing those digital cameras and VTXs will cost a lot. If you're just cruising then go by a DJI camera drone 😂
so should you get the goggles v2, or the dji goggles 2? the older you can link up an analog module what would you say?
after watching this video, I am going to buy digital setup, thanks for posting
I have both. But im building a huge long range. Thinking this one going back to analog because foxeer 5w vtx. On paper that is double the range which helps penetration too
too many things wrong with this video.
I started with dji and actually rn I don't recommend it. You are locked to their system, if you go any other way you can use any system with external modules. it has noticeable lag when doing fast tricks or going further away. Also digital vtx's and cameras are noticeably more expensive, crashing not an option so you tend to play it safe and stagnate your skill lvl.
As far as penetration digital is better but not for range, I get much better range of my analog setup than I do with my digital. Granted you have to have the right setup for analog long range but I fly above the clouds flying a lot and I use my analog set up every time.

Yes I know what you mean, digital is better for penetrating objects but as you’re describing analog will get better range, the main reason why I prefer digital is that you don’t have to have a dedicated long range setup, it’s pretty much out-of-the-box. But yes analog will destroy digital in range any day with a dedicated setup!

can you tell me a long range analog setup ?
Now there are some ‘hacks’ for DJI (regional dependent) but Q: Can you use them (the hacks) on a commercial job with regards to insurance? How are you dealing with VLOS vs BVLOS regulations in the country you’re in? Subscribed :)

Yes from what I’ve found the “hacks” shouldn’t void your insurance, it just depends on what geo location you’re located in. And this also depends on how strict you are with the laws and regulations, (if your in the Europe then you might not be following the country’s regulations, but really no one can tell what your output power is unless they ask you. Just remember a higher output power makes it harder to fly with other FPV pilots.) And for VLOS and BVLOS it all just depends on the flying conditions, I’m currently traveling so it all just depends on on where I am, but for the most part I have a spotter, for flights that are long range then usually you will get the best range if it’s clear and you have VLOS Hey hope this helps out, thanks!
for racing and freestyle in smaller enviroments is analog still today the best choice. longrange, cinematic and crusin i would go with digital.

Yeah analog will be best and better priced for smaller setups, but for more cinematic and professional setups I think digital is the best choice
Love From Pakistan ❤ Digital ❣️
You forgot about tinywhoops 🙃

Hahahaha, he’s a different type of breed! The funny thing is the first thing I thought of when I read this was this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/laSrttdwgZWZhco.htmlsi=Q8CUN62SP42HnAJS
This is just NOT TRUE! I have both systems and I just cannot get rid of analog. The difference is not as big as people say, and the latency of digital (DJI O3) is ridiculous, to a point that yesterday I lost my Action 4 due to an instant 50mbps --> 4mbps transmission drop that WOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED with analog. THe digital system is more enjoyable in certain ways but for risky scenarios and general fresstyle, analog hands down. Probably you've never used a good analog system with a rush tank and good antennas, not to mension the true diversity devices that make it great. Besides, digital will save you money? Like loosing a 250euro digital system? My guy if you wanna have more subscribers do your homework first to be fair in your analysis. Just my two cents.
Digital is amazing when its working but when it starts to cut out its unusable, thats my biggest gripe about it. Other thing is the DJI system is by far the best of the digital options and I wont own anything they make on principle, completely awful company. I do just fine so far with analog, having good googles, good camera and a good VTX makes all the difference.

analog has better range then digital when I search it up

Yes analog will have better range than digital, but you have to get a long range system and big antennas. Whereas Digital gets you some amazing range just out of the box
Nah... digital is more like your dad's bmw 5 series.. in wich you dont wana crash... but drives smooth.. Analogue is more of a ruffed up driftcar that you don't care when it gets scratches.. you try more because it's less expensive.
Digital.

analog, analog, digital, digital, this is just your experience, there are Analog configurations, that put your sponsored DJI to shame😮
