IMO "LIAR!", "you're with him!", and "you brought him here to kill me!" were some of Hayden's best lines ever. Hayden also had some of the greatest line delivery in episode 2 and 3 (but primarily in episode 3)

Okay, I know that people say he is whiny and things like that, I can see it but he is a great character in my opinion who is pretty realistic. Anakin is one of my favorites, his development into Darth Vader was so tragic but well written!

Regardless of what you think about Hayden Christensens' acting in the prequels, his speech about slaughtering the Tuskens still gives me chills to this day. It's even more chilling imagining Matt Lanter's anakin saying it. I grew up with The Clone Wars so Matt Lanter's Anakin is a version of him I love a lot. When Anakin was angry in the Clone Wars he was genuinely terrifying.

Part of what I dislike about the sequels is that imo Anakin is the single main character of all of Star Wars, the one person that everything revolves around throughout the six movies… but then it wasn’t…

@@finni9657Agreed. The Sequels kinda felt like it was trying to eliminate everything the Prequels gave us, and that’s why I’m so against it. Star Wars all started with Anakin. Even if now the story’s moved on, he at least should’ve remained the core of it like Luke, Leia, and Han are.

Loads of people gave Hayden flak, but I can literally see a less furious version of Vader in every non Padme scene. Which adds up with his "soothing prescence" scene Except Padmes death. Completely confused as to how he didn't see the lighting and background similarities. The only possible answer I can see is pure blind siding fear and rage, but were talking on a WHOLE other level. Like forgetting the vision in the first place. Or if he only saw Padme, which is misleading story telling. Can't let either of those slip

The background similarities are for the audience. Dreams aren’t easy to remember, and they aren’t 100% identical. Like at 1 point in his dream Obi Wan tells Padme to “hold on”, but that doesn’t happen in the actual scene. This is not a goof but an example why Padme passed it off “only a dream”.

That was an important line that's when anikan started to see the Jedi in a bad way. That was a metaphor to corruption. After mace windu, the embodiment of a perfect Jedi in anikans eyes chose to kill the chancellor instead of following the Jedi code he realized they were just as selfish as him but dishonest about it

His acting isn’t bad at all, he served all the moments the way the scene was written. I thought he did phenomenally and I was shocked when I found out people heavily criticized his work. I thought I was crazy for a long time because I didn’t see it nor did I ever agree with the masses but now I know that everyone else are just sheep and only say what others do or they’re blind to actual talent.
