The sequel trilogy really didn't have any kind of arc to it. That was part of why it was bad.

I wouldn’t say that the sequels were bad, I prefer the prequels more. I never learned to love the OT, but I don’t dislike them, I just prefer the prequels. For some reason I’ve always been more entertained from watching the prequels. I just wanted to say this, I’m trying to avoid hate because this is only an opinion. Everyone should have the rights to an opinion

ROTS was one of the best Star Wars movies made up there with the original trilogy and for most people their favourites and rightly so because of what it was built upto everything about that was good. Sure AOTC wasn’t great and sometimes kinda cringy but the clone wars just makes in a sort of way AOTC better. plus prequel memes>>>>

"I HATE YOU!" can certainly bite horribly, as it shows that someone's disdain can last forever. But "You were my brother. I loved you." is all the worse because it means they loved someone once, and now it's gone for good.

What made this movie so much more sad is the fact that he had so much regret. All he wanted was for Padme to be safe. And there was so much conflict inside him, that's why he was crying on Mustafar. Everyone hates on the prequel, but it hits me on such a high level because you watch a young slave boy go from an innocent child to a conflicted, broken, soul. Its heart-breaking.

@Commando Droid honestly the reason I'm not a big fan of the prequels is simply because a ton of the execution for the 3 films was done less than optimally, but the ideas Lucas had for the films, those were spot on, and the clone wars show really expanded on that a lot and fixed the clones being cardboard cutouts, fixed Anakin's "5 second shift" from light side to dark side, along with a lot of other upgrades and additions that mixed with the prequels make the films a lot more heartbreaking to watch.

I agree and would like to add that I think the films should stand on their own, and that they do so quite well. I myself haven’t seen the Clone Wars (yet), but I can definitely empathize with Anakin without any 3rd-party media to help me understand. I believe his turn is perceived as a split second decision because, in a sense, that’s what it’s supposed to be. When one of his masters tries to assassinate the only man who can save his wife, he is forced into a split second decision - his wife, or this guy (who’s never really liked him, never trusted him, and has overall been a jerk for 13 years). He tries to buy time and bring Palpatine to court, but his master insists on killing him - inadvertently threatening what Anakin sees as his wife’s life. In a 5-second shift, he acts to save his wife.

True, maybe not in terms of cinematography or dialogue (both would be Empire I think) but definitely in terms of story and emotional grip. The fall of the Jedi and the Republic in general is heart warming (or breaking, depending on your allegiance)

I love how every song turns into imperial march in some dramatic way... I end up looking forward to that moment cuz it's so poignant of a change from whatever song is being played to that underlying darkness of it all, especially in these already sad songs

This scene in the movie is so powerful. It perfectly reflects the emotions and conflict Anakin is feeling. Sends chills up my spine.

I think Star Wars has probably some of the best examples of music that matches the emotion of the moments they depict.

All this death, all this pain, all this destruction, this betrayal, the disaster, the horror. One man was behind this, the same man who betrayed his master, his apprentices...who wanted power at any cost, the suffering of others was an enjoyment to him. It truly chills me and disgusts me at the things Palpatine had done just to have his empire. And to make it worse, the jedi and Republic are to blame as well for letting it all happen ignoring the truth until it was too late. That's what i felt when I heard this beautiful music. It's amazing

Honestly, if you don't like the prequels your not really a true fan, because you most likely can't look past the minor stuff like bad dialogue and bad CGI, to see a beautiful crafted story that in my opinion will never be beaten

This was so well played! The original's definitely one of my favourite pieces of music in the whole saga, especially when they reused it for Order 66 in "The Clone Wars".

What I remember about the rise of the Empire is... is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st was discretely transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do.

Great performance, as always! It really transports the dramatic emotions of the movie scene. Also love how the visual effects of the keys match perfectly!

What I really love in how you played this is the register of the notes. Using these higher and more cheerful notes to play a sad song really encourages the confusion and distraught of how Obi-wan must have felt for such a compassionate and kind person like Anakin to do these terrible things. Overall this may not be my favorite but I still am very impressed with how well you displayed the emotions of this song. Keep going!

If I made the sequels I would add a scene were Obi-wan is searching the destroyed Jedi temple looking for survivors but everywhere he looks he sees his fallen friends, chared from the powerful blaster bolts that had struck each one of them, but then he spots a Jedi with a cut wound and another, and another untill Obi-wan is following a trail of slashed bodies, as he follows the path you see flashes of the event that took place just the night before as you see a the darkened temple full of Lazers and clones as a cloaked figure is slashing and mutilating everyone in sight! then it flashes back to Obi-wan seeing all the bodies in the exact same positions as they were in the flashback. This will continue untill he follows the trail of chared bodies into the council chambers were he finds the younglings, he then collapses to his knees in shock as Yoda approaches from behind and states "this youngling, killed by a clone he was not, but by a light saber." Then another flash appears to the same cloaked figure holding an ignited light saber Infront of the younglings. Then it flashes back to Obi-wan and Yoda as Obi-wan asks "but who could have done this!?" As it flashes back to the cloaked figure but this time you can see anakin's miserable face as he looks down in shame over a pile of corpse's. Then the scene ends. Throughout this entire sequence the song in this video would be playing.👌🏻

I want to thank you for this beautiful adaptation. I'm a game master and DMing the grand final of my campaign last weekend and this a really emotionnal scene where the group, essentially padawan were getting wrecked by the Big bad Evil guy at the end and their mentor sneaked his way to their ship and follow them where they were to finally rush in and cancel the spell they were under. The BBEG grabbed the Jedi Knight (He's a towering Sith of 8 feet tall) and he litteraly pulled out the heart of their master in front of them. In his last breath he faintly said: You will not take my children. Not under my watch... Again, Thank you. I made them cry, it made me cry. You did an amazing job.

Every song you do is so beautiful. Thank you for existing simply existing in this world and bringing us such beauty.
