intended to save her but if he didnt allow himself to be manipulated by palpatine, she wouldnt have died. he ultimately killed her. he did love her, theres no doubt about that. sacrificed everything

It’s so sad that his whole life filled with pain and loss, but the final straw was that he was made to believe Padme would be lost too 😢 and in the end, the only one he didnt kill was the only one who didnt abandon him, his son

The fact that both Anakin and Padme asked for one another even when they were fighting with death was just so mesmerizing..... A tragedy it was, that Anakin left everything for her although it was all in vain😭😭😭 P.S - I'm not ending my life until I get someone like Anakin,, but yeah I don't wanna be immortal fr😶😭

this is genuinely the most heartbreaking storyline.. he turned for padme and ended up losing her as he did it

i wish that george lucas would one day or disney make a spin off or one shot where anakin stayed to the light side and we got to see what would happen if padme would still pass away i know she died from a broken heart but it would still be cool to see how revenge of the sith would have ended with anakin staying a jedi

Yes, I would love to see some kind of alternate reality where Anakin stays on the light side, doesn't let Palpatine manipulate him, helps in stopping him (Sidious) and later leaves the Jedi Order or maybe initiates some changes - with Ahsoka's help, of course ;) AND has a chance to live a happy life with Padmé, Luke and Leia. The actual story is just too heartbreaking! I want some happy ending for them so bad 😭 [It's impossible, I know but let me dream a little lol]

That part of the movie was so sad & had me with tissues in hand,I had tears in my eyes for Padme,at least Padme had two beautiful children & the force was strong in them both.

the part that killed me most is during the end when she died they were going to bury her with the keychain he made bro-

I love the story of Obi-Wan and Satine. It was deliberately written to contrast Anakin’s approach to a woman he loved. Even at Satine’s death, filled with grief, he let go. Beautiful tragedy.

I don't think a lot of people truly understand the genuine love Anakin had for Padme. It rips my heart out that he was betrayed and lied to, all on a pie crust promise that she could be saved. And then to live without her feeling guilt and torment. Anakin's love was in the truest and Nobelist way. I hope somehow, she knew the sacrifices he made for her. Hayden Christensen was the perfect choice for Anakin. Also, great video! Thank you, meant to say that too 😉

The generation that grew up with the prequels and loved them are now old enough to defend them. It's a beautiful thing. Someday the same thing will happen with the sequel trilogy. I have seen every single Star Wars in the theater at the time of release and I love every single movie, so this coming around to my favorite character brings me great joy. I defended Hayden back when that was extremely rare. The people that love him and talk about him this way now is such a great thing to watch happen! Fuck man this story reminds me of my ex and I, I’ve never been a star wars fan but came across this video and this hits home, the love he has for her is so intense that when she died he died with her, my ex didn’t die but I feel like somewhere along the journey through all the pain and discord when I ended it due to personal reasons and not willing to forgive her even though she is the love of my life, I died too and in the process became somewhat of a monster/not myself.. got into the gym and went from barely benching 225 to now almost benching 405 and a massive asshole in the process, not happy about it but I rather that than to have my heart broken ever again, guarded to the point where I won’t let no one in. I chose to break her heart so bad that I still to this day am bitter about it, but my pride is strong to the point that I’ll never tell her how I truly feel about her and the last time she sobbed to me declaring her love to me and telling me she’s willing to do anything to save our relationship I lied to her by telling her that I wasn’t in love with her anymore. I never lost the love I have for her and prob never will. But at this point I can’t tell her even if I wanted to, and I’ll go to my grave with my soul crushed because of not having her in my life.. but it’s the choice I made and will have to live with, if I ever see her again and talk to her we prob will ball our eyes out because the love we had for eachother was truly a beautiful thing, it was the best feeling I have ever felt in my entire life.
