I have seen a video of a King Cobra biting a python and then quickly retreating to avoid being constricted to death while the venom does its thing. If King Cobras employ that tactic regularly, I would favor the King Cobra in this fight. In a proper fight to the death where they're forced to fight each other without running, I would favor the Anaconda. It's just too big and strong and because reptiles have slower metabolism than mammals, I think it would take longer for the venom's effects to kick in and by then the Anaconda would probably kill the King Cobra.

allso, it depends how many times cobra bites... they rarely just make perfect bite and leave animal to die. usually it takes few bites and hanging on before prey dies-.

If the King Cobra can get in a quick bite and flee and if its fangs are actually able to pierce the Anaconda's skin, the venom will eventually kill it. Those are big ifs though and there is no reason why a King Cobra would attack a fully grown Anaconda because even if it kills it, the Anaconda would be too big for the King Cobra to swallow.

A fight between the two of these would most likely be a mutually assured destruction situation, the cobra kills the anaconda with its venom and the anaconda crushes the cobra.

Look at king cobra vs python fight since they coexist (there are some videos). They both die, so the same would happen in the king cobra vs anaconda fight. In fact there's no way for the anaconda (or the python) to avoid being bitten by the king cobra. So I assume the restrictor snake would definitely die.

Grappler vs boxer. Constrictor vs knock out artist. I worked with both of these in my career. The Anaconda can constrict the King to death and eat it much faster than it takes for the Kings venom to kick in and kill the Anaconda.

the constricting pressure of a 20 foot anaconda is like getting stepped on by a small elephantm OR having a small car stop on your foot. The KC has no chance and will be dead within 8 to 10 minutes, maximum. An anaconda is far stronger than the kind of pythons the KC comes upon in southeast asia. Perhaps 6X as strong. Maybe more. KC dead Way before the venon can act. but eventually anaconda too dies.

KC wins. Speed. It'd be hard for a large tubular snake such as anaconda to effectively wrap around a thinner KC whom has already struck 2-3x with venom.

If these two face off, the cobra biting the Anaconda is inevitable but the Anaconda wouldn't get a hold of the cobra everytime. If the anaconda is fully grown it will surely kill the cobra but whether the anaconda dies comes down to if the fangs of the king cobra can penetrate its thinck skin.

If the cobra escapes after biting the anaconda, and it's not a fight. if the fight to death must be a draw, after the cobra dies wrapped in the anaconda, the anaconda also dies from poison.

I don't think an anaconda is fast enough to bite a cobra. They are much faster, much more agile, and much smarter than an anaconda. KC strikes and retreats out of danger, anaconda dies later, king cobra comes back and teabags it

Yeah that wouldn't happen. Anacondas are exceptionally fast in water and due to their large size and length, it would be difficult to get away from it. The second the King Cobra bites it, it would get wrapped up and crushed.

I vote for the King to be the Cobra. because even though the anaconda might squeeze the cobra to death ultimately the anaconda would die from the venom so ultimately the Cobra is king due to even if you try beat it, it will always win in the end.

So basically its the classic rivalry of Strength Vs Agility?

Well then you're in for some disappointment then, because unfortunately the "king" in the cobra's name doesn't mean what you think it means. Certainly not in every way possible considering that other snakes can and have killed it. 😂 The name "king" was given to the cobra by humans, first of all - which means jack - simply because of the fact that it eats other snakes. Which is the same reason why the name "king" was given to the other King Snake. It having the word "king" in its name doesn't mean that it would beat every other snake in a fight, especially whenever it's literally already been recorded as being killed by other snakes before. Because it's very difficult to squeeze a snake to death. Snakes are normally killed by crashing their heads n how is an Anaconda going to crash a Cobra's head? Plus the Cobra is way faster than an Anaconda , so it might stand a good chance to deliver multiple Venomous bites b4 the Anaconda graps it. I think the Cobra will pump into the Anaconda so much venom , the Anaconda will weaken it's grip b4 any serious damage will befall the King 👑

It depends on the size of the snake. A fully grown female anaconda (female is larger) is definitely bigger than a fully grown male king cobra (male is larger). A king cobra is not likely to provoke it into a fight. If they are about the same size, the king cobra will win. Anaconda has no resistance to the king's venom. It takes much longer for its constriction to kill the king cobra.
