Classical guitars are our passion! We are specialized in the highest quality concert guitars as well as historic guitars from around the world. Our passion for these unique instruments and the joy to give guitarists, passionate players, and collectors the possibility to purchase their own appropriate instrument is the motivation that drives us. Another focus is to work closely with established and young, largely unknown luthiers. Together we want to develop new ideas and share experiences with our customers.
We also recorded pieces for many great composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Astor Piazzolla and Isaac Albeniz (Asturias). You will also find almost all the classical music composers that wrote for the classical guitar. Make sure to discover Agustin Barrios Mangoré, Manuel Maria Ponce, Heitor Villa-Lobos and many more if you don't know their compositions already
You can find our show room in 76137 Karlsruhe, Roonstr. 31, Germany

Jim Redgate is a highly sought-after Australian luthier, known for his guitars built for artists such as Ana Vidovic, Pepe Roméro and Odair Assad. This lattice-braced model is an exact copy of the guitar that Ana Vidovic plays. Jim Redgate’s instruments have their own sound and touch. The breath-taking volume combined with rich harmonics and impressive clarity of sound are quite unique. The playability is fantastic, and the guitars are relatively light in weight compared to the Australian standard.
We’ve of course heard Ana Vidovic in concert many times playing on a Redgate guitar, but this guitar convinced us even more of the quality of Jim’s work. The honesty and spontaneity of each note, the magnificent volume, the ease of playing, and the unique sound character of this guitar make it an instrument not only rare in Europe, but above all extremely enchanting.
Luthier: Jim Redgate
Construction year: 2019
Top: Cedar/Lattice
Back and sides: Bolivian rosewood

I was blown away by her absolute control of dynamics on the third movement. Perfection! She was able to flawlessly capture the vibrant chaos and exuberance that is the streets of a Latin American city which Barrios wanted to evoke in stark contrast to the peaceful tranquility of the interior of the church represented by the second movement. She is an amazing artist.

It's a history piece of latin America. My favorite element of this piece is it's hope. One day i wish to see a truly unified latin America, in culture, history, and politic. Music like this will have a central role in that identity. This was truly a breathtaking arrangement. Viva la Raza.

This song made me understand why I liked classical music at my age and not my friends, maybe partly because of my father (classical guitarist) but mostly because of something so simple that once you understand it everything becomes more enjoyable. Classical music doesn't need words to tell you a story, it conveys it to you. And if you close your eyes on this track you feel like you enter a cathedral, you can feel the blood, the feelings, the memories you never had, the man and everything a cathedral represents without a single word. I think that's the magic of this kind of music, it's the music of the storytellers.

I believe that when you find something within the arts compelling, and you are moved by it, you are feeling a connection to the artist. In their work, they leave an imprint of their very essence of being, their consciousness. So you are experiencing their sense of self in a way that words could never express or convey. You are feeling, at the least, partly who they are. When someone pours their soul into something, it is done so in a way of flow, and when you feel it, you are connecting to that as well. Explore what you feel connected to in all things, but especially in the arts. It will take you to new universes and beyond.
