Only Paolo can take a 12 hour flight and still look as chipper as before he got on. Great video! I'm dreading the 12 hour flight from LAX to Tokyo when I come visit.

Very interesting to see the Premium economy in action , thanks for posting.

A big thank you for posting this, Paolo! Special thanks for the measurements and wide shots of how humans actually fit inside the space. Big help in deciding whether to drop the few hundred extra bucks to try ANA's Premium product next spring, what with the already-excellent service in regular Economy.

I loved flying with ANA! The flight attendants were so nice.

LOVE your videos and so excited for my first trip to Japan next year! Would love to see a video on any good breakfast places you recommend!

I just flew from Tokyo/Narita to Washington DC a few weeks ago. ANA’s customer service is amazing!! They gathered all the airline crew and show respect to their customers with a bow before check ins, boarding the gate and leaving the plane. Food was amazing for economy class because you have the choice between “A: Japanese food or B: Western food.” There is only one small issue I had with this airline which is the touch sensitivity screen on the seats. But other than that, this made me wish that I could fly longer with ANA. My flight took 14 hours between Tokyo/Narita to Washington DC, I feel like it’s worth investing a little more to premium economy class for this long trip :)

loved ANA lounge and their business class was well worth it. ANA's service is always so great regardless of where you sit on the plane.

I’m so excited my flight next year. Yahoo!

That looks wonderful i flew ana from Narita to Bangkok round trip. It was just economy but still very nice.

I just flew on ANA Premium Economy from NRT to KUL and back again to visit family in Kuala Lumpur. LOVED the 3-3-3 configuration on the 787 Dreamliner - all airlines using Boeing should have that configuration. So Spacious! Exponentially a far better experience overall in that 7 hours' flight than on United Premium Economy trip back to Newark.

ANA Premium Economy uses 2-3-2 configuration on 787 not 3-3-3... That's regular Economy, which is not that spacious. You should try rival Japan Airlines on 787 Dreamliner. 2-4-2 Economy is much more spacious than 3-3-3.

@@lihlin9285 Well she says that 787 use 3-3-3, so I believe it. They have many 787 and each one has different economics, is more, they are the biggest operator of that plane in the world. But that is true, the economy on Jal is the best. I will usually prefer the business class since being in the economy puts you more expose to covid.

Personally I think the way you edit and present your videos is really unique. From the hand-drawn maps to your enthusiasm for a particular location, item or food you are reviewing really separates yourself from other youtubers. You've also been a great help in planning to trip to Japan in December by introducing restaurants and places that no one else has ever mentioned! Looking forward to your future videos!

I love flew premium economy from Haneda to Vancouver bc What a wonderful flight Great seating Wonderful staff I will always fly ana given the choice We had a menu so there was a choice of dinners

I have always flown ANA Premium Economy class from Bangkok to Tokyo's Haneda Airport.

One of things I really like about this is seeing the new technology and gadgets that come out Japan.

I love the fact that you measured the seats! And first time I saw leg rest like that. This is the first premium economy review that answered my questions. How is the recliner though?

Dear Paolo, WOW! Premium Economy is so much nicer than just "Economy Class". Amazing!

I have some doubts about flying with ANA. This is going to actually be my first time on a plane, so there’s a lot I don’t know but, when you measure your luggage, does the extensible/pull handle counts to measure the height of the bag?

That is the first time that I have heard that Premium Economy gets you lounge access, not on other carriers.

Love ANA! They gave me a wheelchair from Manila Airport to Narita. No problem! Very accommodating and nice people.

I was supposed to fly ANA to California in few weeks time, but I ended up getting good deals on Korean Air. I have been wanting to try that airline so bad because I want to feel the Japanese hospitality on long haul flights.

Hey welcome to LA. I'm a huge fan of your channel. I'm not sure if it'll be to weird but I would love to hang out and get a drink with you guys if you're still here.

I'm moving to Tokyo in September and considering whether or not to pay the extra for premium economy from London Heathrow to Tokyo Haneda. I have only ever flown economy class on long-haul flights. I am quite tall and also overweight so guess the extra space would be nice. Also, the peace and quiet would be a great addition. But is it £700 better?

Great Review, as always, you have so much positive energy. The touch screen is the last generation technologically, although I believe ANA has a newer iteration of touch screens onboard the retrofitted 777-300ER Series (with significantly larger screens). Programming is a shortcoming on ANA, which surprises me because they are so superior in so many other important ways. I agree with your analysis and think they should be on par with Singapore and United on their programming offerings. In July between HND-JFK, I have opted to upgrade the meal service as they offer Paid Exclusive Dining. This will be my first time using this option. But the meals are indeed from Economy Class so I'll be interested in trying this new option. The space in Premium Economy drives the value of this cabin as does ANA's attention to service, which has been excellent, in my experience.

Great review. I wish this Airline would fly direct from Tokyo to Belfast, Northern Ireland using a 787 or an old 767 if they flew to the City Airport.

Looks like it will be worth to actually get premium economy on my next trip to Japan. On my recent trip i flew via ANA on regular economy and even that was already MUCH better and nicer than the one from United. Much more space, comfy, classy, everything. Will definitely try Premium next time

just wondering if all ANA premium economy is the same, I am looking into the ANA flight from NYC to HND.

So, are you able to keep the noise-cancellling headset or are they just to use on the plane only? They don't look like the cheapy regular headphones I've seen on other airlines.

Love the vid, I’m going from lax to Bangkok in March and deciding between ANA and EVA price about the same. The best part about the video was when you dropped your lemon meringue 😂

I personally haven't tried premium economy because I mostly fly to places that are under 5 hours in flight time. I do think that for long haul flights like yours, it would be worth the price for the comfort. I sat in economy for a 15 hour flight before, and I must say, I could not sleep at all during the flight. 😅 maybe next time I fly long haul I'd try premium economy. This was a great review!

Thanks LoveLyzKelly! Yeah, the food was decent on the plane, but I was really digging the food and drinks at the lounge.

The best experience in my opinion could be if all Nippon could continue with the Queen of the Skies Jumbo 747🤧. Believe me, the planes were so special on that airline!

I flew JAL(Japan Airlines) 10 years ago NYC-NRT and I wasn’t impresssed, it was pretty average, specially since I was expecting much more because Japan does everything right. ANA's awesome ! I flew with them several years ago, although both legs of my trip was in Lufthansa's name. You need to request the Vegan meal ! You'll get it first, it'll be healthier, tastier, and won't be the same boring thing everybody else is eating.
