Yeah, i remember when that puppet guy was on, & he made a joke about how 'everybody' is so good at atleast "pretending" to be listening to what she has to say; & she just laughed it off very graciously. The problem isn't that Ana got Alyssa the elephant, the problem is the comments with it. Everyone else was lifted up, Alyssa's gift was given with a jab for a comment.

The Trump administration relentlessly grilled Ana during their administration as she was one of their most outspoken critics. Alyssa was part of that group and when she came on The View, she made an effort to befriend all the ladies, even Sunny who has been far ruder, but never tried to befriend Ana. She’s never had any respect for Ana. Ana has not forgotten.

OK, i have been reading through a whole bunch of these comments here, where PPL are screaming at Ana, for handing Alyssa an Elephant. But isn't that the symbol of the republicants? And isn't that what Alyssa is? Honestly, i just don't get it? I must be getting old!

I think it was the delivery that made it sound awkward. I think that if she had not given her anything that would have been mean. Ana is a straight shooter and says it like she sees it.

But elephants are extremely protective and loyal and if you mess with their families that will be the last time you do it. They are gentle giants. If Ana meant it as an insult, it was a terrible one. That’s more like a compliment

An Elephant is the official republican animal mascot. I’m actually not sure why people in the comments think it was some kind of diss? That’s why Joy said ‘couldn’t you find a donkey?’ as the donkey is the democrat mascot.

Alyssa is a Republican and their mascot is the elephant, yet people are offended by that fact? 😂 This is no different than giving a friend a sports jersey of their favorite team even though you don’t see the appeal

I'm a hardcore Liberal and don't like what most republicans stand for but Alyssa has really changed my mind about a lot. It's the WAY she puts her ideas forward that has me thinking that liberals and conservatives should talk to each other more....which brings me to Ana. Don't treat Alyssa like that!!! She had some of us libs softening up lol
