People who are saying "there's no room for more lockers" ?? There's a massive walking area. They can build out at LEAST 2 more front & back rows of lockers!!

About the lines and waiting time even with a Fast Lane, I'm now considering using the early entry just to stand there one hour in line before the park opens. Then go to Steal Vengeance, Maverick and Millennium Force.

The problem with waiting during EE is when will you start your locker time? Because that will be a line as well. I'm going early Halloweekends on Thursday and Friday, and I will do a couple rides of Wild Mouse or GateKeeper and then head to TT2. That way, EE isn't a complete loss but still will beat the GP to TT2. Heck! I might marathon as much as I can until my locker time is up. Then head to SV and Maverick, or ride Magnum since it is right there too. Then go to TT2 later for marathoning night rides to end the night.

We were thinking of making a trip up there one weekend to ride it before we come up in June. It really does look fun!

Finally rode it Sunday opening weekend. Such a great experience.

People really need to start 'releasing' their locker(s) after use, all you have to do is before you close it push and hold the button under the keypad until the light turns green then close the locker. This will free up lockers sooner so others can use them.

I have heard several people say they think Cedar Point might do something with the space you mentioned. My question is, isn’t that outside of the park? That is beyond the fence and out of the marina gate. I wonder why they would build a ride outside of the park gates.

They would move the gate and the road just outside the gate. Cedar Point is landlocked. So they have to get creative to add more rides and spaces.

I’ll be there Saturday! Can’t wait!!

hope a new coaster does go in that spot. would be nice if cedar point took the inversion record away from steel curtain. could see something over there with like 11 to 12 inversions or even more

it’s probably due to an abundance of caution. But I would say it’s probably an over abundance of caution.

Great video! When are the coastermania tix coming out? Where on the cp website will the tix be found?

I've never been on Perimeter Drive so that was interesting to see all those coasters from the backside viewpoint.

I think there's plenty of space for a couple trains worth of stuff in the area between the final turn into the station and the ramp for loading.. maybe keep the current exit ramp but loose article people exit left and unfortunately have to walk all the way back to the tt2 portal entrance. So that no extra structures need to be made to have new pathways. Ppl that have no loose articles can exit normally? Idk. I doubt they will ever do the steel vengeance route

I like to listen to podcasts in line. Would I be able to wear a smartwatch and bluetooth earbuds in line?

Great review! I rode TT2 yesterday, for the first day of Gold Pass day. I thought the ride was amazing!!! I think It's just as good, if not better than the original. That backwards launch into the spike is bonkers! We had a 4 to 5 pm ride time, we got in line immediately and only waited 30 minutes. Also Magnum was running exceptionally smooth for some reason. I'm very curious to see how CP handles a capacity summer crowd for this ride. On the plus side the more people in line for TT2, the shorter other lines get.

There is a way to get around those lockers. Loophole just think about it for a bit youll find it

I'll say I do really like the layout of the line being entirely covered although they don't really have enough room for the line to que.

It looks like I ended up on the cutting room floor. I was there and I did see you walking around videoing yourself. I was the guy who looked like a clown but we had the 4-8pm pass. Loved TT2

Honestly man yes I get the fact that the lockers cost money but they sell them with an all day pass so you can use the lockers all around the park from ride to ride. It's 8 dollars. get one and share it with your friend. Cedar Point was not able to fit them on the inside of the ride. so unfortunately it had to be this way. I think with how amazing TT2 is people will be willing to pay money for a locker.

The review definitely sounds like Tigris on steroids!!! Will be watching the opening day footage and beyond until I get there to ride!!! What did you think of the station music? From a veteran CP pass holder now in Florida.

Agreed. And I do think that was a pretty strong placating move. knowing that it would help drive hype. but I still think the ride is worth the hype and it's worth the dollars for the locker. I think those dollars for the lockers, though, need to be changed one way or another.

@@MileHighGrowlerfrom what I understand, Zamperla made last minute changes to their loose article guidelines, so CP was stuck between a rock and a hard place since it was too late to create a better loose article system. Plus, I’m sure they don’t want to ignore the guidelines considering there is a woman with brain damage due to the original ride

@@johnepants I don't think a single person would debate the value of having a loose article policy. I think the complaint is a forced lockering of all items but having to pay for it.Unlike Steel Vengeance.

@@MileHighGrowler I agree, what I’m saying is that by the time CP realized the loose article policy needs to be strict, they already completed construction of the ride. They had no time to prep for this. The only other option would be to make the lockers by the entrance to the Que free (if they are still there) but there aren’t enough lockers for riders

It's not the top thrill in the park, though. You still get more intensity out of Maverick and Steel Vengeance. Nothing wrong with that - CP really needed something a step down from those coasters, but still on par with Raptor and more intense than Millennium Force. It's great given Zamperla's limited experience with launched coasters, but I wouldn't wait more than 2 hours for it.

The food at back beat que was all inclusive FOR THE PAID CHARITY EVENT. The gold pass event will not have food included and I don’t think you can use the meal plan for it yet.

I was really hoping for no single fast pass 🤦🏻‍♀️

3 to 4 hour lines?? God I hope not. I’m going to Cedar Point for 2 days in the middle of June on a Monday and Tuesday. I’m from Oklahoma so it will be a long road trip. Bought fast lane plus for both days and hope the line isn’t 3 to 4 hours as I would like to ride Top Thrill 2 more than once plus I want to ride the other coasters at the park and not have to stand in line half the day just to ride TT2. Guess we’ll see.

For TT2 you can only use fast lane once per day I believe.

@@PLUMMAxX Yes I know you can only use Fast Lane once per day for TT2 but I was planning on standing in the regular line for another ride on it after I use my fast lane pass and don’t want to have to stand in line for half the day especially since I’m driving from Oklahoma to ride it. Won’t be fun to stand in line for 4 hours when I could be riding other rides at the park.

No. It’s not 13. That is what I said though. On the screen I corrected myself, I think it’s actually 2 dollars, but I said 3 on the screen for two hours. Either way, it’s much less than I thought. I allowed confirmation bias to sway me. And I shouldn’t have.

I put at the bottom of the screen in text that I think it's actually 3 dollars. I think the lockers at the front of the park are 13 for all day lockers. (And I think those are the big ones)

Just rode TT2 twice. It’s better than the original. I’ve ridden front and back. They are both great but front is second to none. It’s a great ride. Not better than steel vengeance but right there with maverick.

R.I.P. Dragster... Cedar Point ruined you. Zamperla ruined you. There is literally no need to have the first launch be that slow. There are other LSM coasters that launch at faster speeds and with that much track still left to use after the first launch there is zero reason it needs to be that slow.... The spike also makes the CP skyline looked like shiz now. If Dragster was rotated a little bit it would look nicer. The way it's angled with the spike and the top hat makes the skyline look like a Christmas tree with too many ornaments. it looks gawdy. Two gigantic thumbs down for for Cedar Point and Zamperla. 👎👎

Tear it down and build a wooden coaster. 👎
