I can’t believe he threw away the offal. Everything on a pig can be eaten. I would like to think he did not want to bother with it at this time. Cleaning the liver, and the intestines, and then there is stomach, kidneys, and heart. That actually is a lot of food.

I’m glad that they did not show the killing of the pig. He could drive people to becoming vegetarians. Pigs have a reputation for dying hard. it can be emotionally draining on some people. Reality that many children living in protected homes are totally in equipped to handle facts of life and where comes from. I have met adults that believe that the chicken in the grocery store is not the same feathered bird that lays eggs that we eat. Are used to raise chickens when I was able to. I will again, I had a comment on fact that I would butcher the roosters. I was told that roosters live and do you like everyone else and my chicken in the grocery store, at least that way no chicken is killed. Really? She was totally unaware everyone was chickens was alive, one time. Where I live now, in a rural farming, community, if I didn’t or couldn’t butcher my own chickens, my friends and neighbors would look at me as being not on the right stock. Of course, even in the small society we do have city folks, we have moved to our community for what we have to offer as a rural farming community. usually the children have grown up again in a protective society, where you don’t see facts of life and death. I bet that young pig is going to be absolutely delicious no matter how they prepare it . Usually they don’t go to Market at this age, but this is a wild pig.
