Well done. USS Montana was never built, with aircraft carriers taking over the role of primary capital ship. But it was a well-developed, feasible design. This is a huge disadvantage in the WoWS Fantasy League. (AKA Tier X and starships)

I want to mention that Montana's turret angles forward are really nice

The Montana is my favorite T10 battleship. Consistent guns with a heavy alpha strike, decent speed, and pretty tanky. Ohio is great, but lacking in the main gun category due to her number of barrels.

The US bb line grind was a pain. And in the end you get the Monty. Not to bad. But as usual A good ship get nerfed into irrelevance so that WoWs can make a more fake ships that they can charge you for.

@padanfain7466 I do like the Ohio. And since my past post, I've had a change of heart of what I said due to playing it a bit. Ohio is pretty good and her guns aren't nearly as inconsistent as I remembered. I think the Montana is a tad better just due to her 12 gun broadside.

Fun fact, BB AP is actually better than HE against saturated targets since HE has diminishing returns but AP just returns overpen damage no matter what

yep, I totally agree with your opinion. I currently play the Amagi a lot since I wanted to spend a meaningful time in WoWs and grind something I don't have, and yes, being able to hold your shot is such a rewarding thing. I don't know how often I blapped some poor cruiser or battleship with the Amagi while they are desparatley trying to do something, until the decisive shot connects. (well: I do have that experience as well with Montana, but to my surprising, I average currently at 105k with Amagi and 113k with Montana but all other T8 BBs are in the 60k~80k range) I'm curious about how the Yamato turns out for me. :D

I've found the monty in solo randoms is incredibly dependent on the team around you, especially now with all the other BB's in game.

that's not true, since I tend to be on top of the score board most of the time in Montana averaging around 1900 PR. I definitly carry many games in Montana and don't feel the Montana lacks anything in any way. It's such a generalist, and that's what you need to face all the one trick ponys in the enemy team. I laugh my ass off when I chunk Schlieffens, GKs, Preußens or Conquerer/Thunderer through their super structure / weak armour or overload Kremlins/Yamatos with powerful HE salvos and fires (and citadels against Yamatos). Not to mention the DDs trying to yolo torp me like a Kléber just recently while I one shot him from full health at close range. Same goes for Khaba or the likes: Hit them for 10k a salvo and see how crippled they are for the rest of the game. Not to mention a broadsiding cruiser ... All in all: The Montana performs very well, and I see that also in my or my opposing teams: If I see a Montana, they are most likley not be the last one in the team. (and every time I see a Montana with me or against me: I smile)

What game mods are you using? They look very nice and I wanted to use them too.

2:18 i unlocked the Zieten and got confederate with secondaries lmao. Secondaries on that thing are actually crazy.

I does play world of warships blitz but is this game fo pc thanks i sold my north Carolina and fuso almost have enough credits for USS Montana 😮 can't wait

Nobody expects it. My best Monty game was 7 kills and 3 of those were secondary kills. They're not the greatest secondaries, but it's definitely fun. I didn't end up keeping the equipment, but I did leave the captain skills, so they shoot a little slower, but it sort of feels like it rounded out the ship a little.

lol my best monty game was 7 kills and 3 of them were secondary kills. no one expects the extra range and speed on the secondaries, let alone expecting a monty to push and brawl. they're not the greatest, but they're not horrible either. they can do some work. I think it's a fun build. Maybe we're both just crazy? lol

@@CareBear-Killer Well, my clanmates called me bad for putting a secondary build on my Montana which I brought into clan battles. In which just to mention, I was the one dealing half the damage to the poor cruisers that got detected on the other side of the hills, now couple that with my legendary mod full survivability that I built alongside my secondaries and you got a terrifying ship. Of course, you want good secondaries on a monty hull then Ohio is the way to go but still, funnnnnnn. I'm like, "fuck off to all of you who say secondary build montana is stupid, it kills things."

I ran secondary spec for years even before the range got buffed and my friends still crack jokes about it today, but I’ve had my most fun games with that spec 😂

I don’t know… have an above 58% win rate on Monty but a below 50% win rate on the Ohio… don’t know what I’m doing wrong tbh since also have an above 55% win rate on my Missouri….

I feel the Monty and the Iowa class have more consistent RNG with their guns compared to the Ohio. Add that plus more gun barrels overall, then you get a better hit/pen probability.
