The Goods lift with a center-opening 2-speed door is a Service Elevator, where as the goods lift with a Door and a gate behind it is a Freight Elevator

And Now also converted to service elevator since the total replacement. Formerly freight elevator, now service elevator

That chime is from the UK commonly used with the Stentergate voice module.

The only positive thing Ill say about this mod is that it runs quite well and the buttons look nice

RIP! I hate it when elevators like these get ripped out! I guess it's for both freight and people now. EDIT: the other elevator has also been modded.

Hmm it looks like Thysssenkrupp replaced the freight elevator and secondly I never knew this what Georgia Tech looks like on the inside considering I’m a huge Georgia Bulldawgs fan lol! 🤣

Hey Dieselducy off topic but in Buckhead Atlanta by the Buckhead Hyatt house there is a 6 floor parking deck with a extremely low on oil elevator and it is really fun. It has been low for around a month and a half now.

This was a really cool elevator, but I have to admit that innovation prestige (I believe this is) looks very nice.

They got a 2-speed center-opening door elevator.

Not a bad mod, but loved the black button a lot better.

This is exactly what I fear will happen to a freight elevator in a university near-me.

The elevator with a single-slide door has redone the cab and has mechanical bells.

Yeah.. I like ThyssenKrupp. If they modded this while still keeping the elevator’s freight style character I would’ve been okay but you Simply CANNOT do a total replacement. I did come across a total replacement in Toronto but it had glass doors and the cab was quite unique..

They ripped out a wonderful Otis black button freight elevator and put in this garbage.

Not bad for a mod, but sad the old freight elevator is gone.

This elevator isn't necessarily bad, it just doesn't belong here whatsoever. I'd rather see the original elevator here.

This mod is a meh. I don't like how they went with horizontal doors. They aren't heavy duty when compared to the vertical sliding. They should've gone with Peele doors instead.
