I remember how roughly a year ago I watched your video on how you beat the 2 month grind on that Camellia song in ADOFAI. Between that and this, I honestly find myself consistently awestruck by just how good you are at nailing that precision and tempo for as long as you can. You've got the rest of the game in the bag mate!

I feel you. I also hate the "new personal best" SFX. I don't have a solid reason for it, I just hate it.

The new level is incredible, but I really don't like how sometimes the decorations will just vanish (for example, 6:47 and 12:31). It's a jarring switch, and it feels to me like cheating in a way. I'd end up burning attempts on bringing the deco back. Not sure why it happens. Great job on the clear!

@@thatotherandrew_ i actually asked about this - that's 100% what it was! it's supposed to unload and then reload the decorations, but sometimes it happens in the wrong order. this level was made 100% in the editor but official levels are loaded via unity scenes, which breaks stuff. but they're working on making some levels load as if they were custom levels (currently on alpha build)

I'm glad he struggled as much as the rest of us on this level lmao

this level is everything that makes the challenge levels hard combined and then amplified by 5x

The thing with official levels are that the song and the rhythm was so uncommon and unique to me, it took me quite hard to get used to its unique rhythm. I suffered a lot in 5th level i hated it so much...

Beat this level for the first time myself literally just before I watched this video. Goodness gracious, my brain isn't build for 320 BPM. 778 attempts (albeit ~400 of them all before the first checkpoint because my brain adapting to 320 BPM rhythms)

i've be like that , and i almost broke my computer (and then i chilling , so i beat it by chilling)

using practice mode doesn't negate your progress. It's a good feature but it feels a bit wonky to use 'cause it reloads the map everytime you change the setting

Yea exactly. Once you end practice you respawn at your most recent checkpoint. In fact, you only lose checkpoint progress if you boot up a different level

@@daveprice5911 half true, you actually need to beat, or get to a checkpoint of a level for it to reset the other level

I'd assume it isn't hard to go into the game files and either find the exact file, or the file containing the sounds to delete or replace with silence.

You're in good company. It took me some 50-ish attempts to get my first clear on Lenient and got close to 200 total attempts to get a 1.0 speed trial on Strict.
