When he said that it was 2 of hearts but it could be any other card made my math-focused brain immediately suspicious. And it turns out that it was an actual forced card, which makes me happy, because I'm horrible at figuring out the sleight of hand tricks, but the math ones I'm actually starting to understand.

Yeah, unfortunately this force was too obvious for me. As soon as he said "we're gonna count from the back" it was over. Sure, it will probably work on kids and drunks but I don't think any of my friends would fall for that. 😂 At least not if they're sober.

It was the “between 10-20 cards” and “add the digits together” that did it for me. Too obvious, but you could adjust for 20-30 cards, just have the magic card at place 19 instead of 10. Only would involve more counting

Josie is finding her look more and more each episode and I am here for it.

Love seeing Josie get more and more confident as these episodes go on!

When i thought this couldnt become more wholesome than already was here comes another magician dad with his daughter and makes it even better. Now i want to watch a magic show with these 4 doing tricks where Josie and Molly are the protagonists and the dads the assistants. So nice!

Wow! What a very cool effect! Being a hobbyist magician, I kind of caught onto the force right away. But I don’t think a lay person would catch on to that force. The method used to make the card disappear from the pack stumped me, though. I like the video format of showing the trick, explaining the trick, and then showing it again at the end. Very cool video!

The black colour on Josies upper lip sometimes makes her remind me of animated bunnies (like in Bambi)

i do wanna point out that not everyone will be comfortable with being put on the spot like that, so please just be mindfull to only do this if you're confident that they dont mind

I think the trick is better with the run down. The hole time I was thinking this was some kind of misdirection for his daughter to slide the card out. Especially since he messed up the first time.

That force was so obvious when he said you could have had x card or y card. Just because of that sentence i realized it was a force because its obv you would have less cards. The only thing is because of the tape mistake I actually thought Molly was part of it around 3min looked like she moved a card down but it was clear she didnt palm anything. Cool trick

You can do this without the double stick tape by just using the Gemini of the forced card.

Silly thing to be wondering, but the two sided tape. I just see it getting dirty as it picks up everything it touches. Also, how do you smoothly set up so that you take the deck out of the box leaving the duplicate in. Sleight of hand, sure, but as an amateur...

I love how when Josie was doing the trick she counted out one less and was like “oh my gosh o_o” like the trick was complete. 😂🤣

I did that trick when I was about 12

Just wondering. If you end up with more than 19 (!) cards, you could do a false choice, where you half the amount of cards and finally stick with the first half of cards even adding more choices to the process. "Remember, you decided which pile we use..."

I liked everything except him explaining that if Josie had chosen more cards it would have meant a different card. When I perform I find saying something like that actually draws attention to the thing you dont want them to see. I always try to remember to not run unless I am being ♧♡♤◇.

15-6=9. Any number minus the sum of its digits is 9 or a multiple of 9. The 2 of Hearts is forced from the get go, based on the fact you limited to between 10 and 20. You would have taken away 10 cards if it was 19 cards, and you would be careful to make sure it wasn't 20. If it were 20, you'd remark how special it was that Josie had picked exactly 20 cards.
