InScribe Palaeography: Palaeography: an overview
These videos were created as part of the InScribe Palaeography online tutorial developed by a collaboration of School of Advanced Study institutes. The course introduces the general concepts of palaeography and manuscript study and trains students to undertake their own transcriptions from medieval English and European manuscripts.
The InScribe project was managed and developed by the Institute of Historical Research, Institute of English Studies, and the Warburg Institute, with help from Senate House Library, Digital Humanities at Kings College London, and the Exeter Cathedral Archives.
The tutorial can be found at PORT (port.sas.ac.uk)
