Thank you, a great example of a misty landscape!
This is beautiful and simplistic but so effective, thank you so much for this tutorial, I just found you today and will be watching as much I as I can to learn these techniques
Wow that is great. I like how you kept this colourless. A really great mood here.
Love your style of painting. I love loose and mist. I am fairly new to watercolour and you make it look so easy. I will have to give it a go. Watched many of your videos but not tried doing it myself. Thank you.
Wow! This is an incredibly straightforward technique, I never knew. Thank you so much for sharing Lois

Thank you. Wonderful !!!
Nicely done and good instructions 😊 I’ll show mine when I find the right place…
Thank you so much for your good time.
Love this Lois! I like your technique best. Here searching for mist/vapor techniques to go along with a Scripture piece I’m working on using James 4:14, “Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. For you are just a vapor that appears for a little while, and then vanishes away.” I’ll post on IG when it’s done and tag you.

Bless your kind heart, Lois for your easy and wonderful demo! Can you please tell us what is the most important thing in creating a painting?
Thank you so much for your work Lois, it would be the best if you can list the material you use and brushes .
Thanks
Thank you, Lois. This was very helpful. I love the look of mist. I think it's just a matter of the amount of water and the timing, right? I'm going to practice this. :)

Margaret Martin it is! Keep everything soft and pale, a mop or small wash brush is very useful for softening hard edges
'Tis a note of enchantment; what ails her? She sees A mountain ascending, a vision of trees; Bright volumes of vapour through Lothbury glide, And a river flows on through the vale of Cheapside.
Hi Lois, I’ve really enjoyed watching this thank you. Could I ask what type of paper is best to achieve the mist. Thank you 😊
👍💕
Can i use green in the mist? I am painting a swamp whit Pebeo watercolours and i want a slight mist in the back off the trees
Could I ask what is your preferred paper ?

Annette Bond I like Saunders Waterford cold pressed and hot pressed paper and Millford paper, both made by St Cuthberts Mill
Great- makes me think the witches from MacBeth will emerge from that landscape ! Very moody.
Hi Lois! Which rigger brush is that?

Hi Mona, i think I used a Daler Rowney Graduate rigger, not sure of the size but most likely a 1 or 2
Thanks Lois. Found this one a couple of years ago - kzread.info/dash/bejne/mZmKvNB-lbnHkrQ.html - and the scale of it has put me off trying. Your tutorial here is much more realistic ...
