During my time in Lviv, I spent six hours a day studying Ukrainian with the wonderful Solomija. Here we talk about how it went.

I love to see how happy she is
Cool to have put you too in contact 😀
Nice interview, like many of your movies, Steve. I hope that one day you will visit Poland. I can be your guide in the city of Poznań. Lviv it's also a beautiful city, but I haven't been there (yet:). Greetings!
Nice discussion Steve.
Steve, I'm Russian, and I'm currently learning Ukranian. I was just listening (and watching) to radio Эхо Москвы today,- it was a program dedicated to all things Ukranian,- when you called the studio on air. I was REALLY surprised that it was you who called. I immediately recognized your voice. Talk about unexpected. I was even more surprised that Gannapolski knew who you were. Made for a great episode! PS: You're really brave. I would not have the courage to call a foreign radio station and just start talking to them in a language that's not my first or second. Major props!

Thanks. I had trouble hearing them over the long distance phone but enjoyed the opportunity. I met Ganapolski in Vancouver a few years ago. He was giving a talk to some members of the local Russian community and I went to hear him and obtained permission from him to use Echo Moskvi interviews, audio and text, on LingQ. I should have looked him up when I was in Kiev. I forgot to.
Love your вишиванка!
Very nice :)
Це надзвичайно круто 😍
