Makes sense for Fisker to work with dealers and it make sense for dealers to adopt EVs. I'm sure other EV start ups will follow this model now. Fisker has first mover advantage

I hadn't thought about today's new consumers who will be the first generation of drivers to have completely bypassed the gasoline experience. Thanks for sharing this interview! It'll be fun to see what the next few years bring in the market.

Henrik is a great communicator, and shows great belief and confidence in the Fisker project. Fisker also seem to have a very well thought out plan / mission. I think that Dealerships will be happy to sell Fisker EVs.

Fisker is a pathological habitual liar. He lies without a smidgen of guilt about doing it, as easily as he breathes because nearly everything he says is a lie. Any dealership that starts selling Fisker Oceans will regret it, and no other models will ever exist because they don't even have money to make more Oceans, so how will they have money for brand new models?.

Trusting they will be rewarded for their hard work...the cars are generously designed, and there is a focus on affordability....there is also an ethical focus on sustainability..

Look at the long history of Fisker lies, hiring fake fans from India to post, getting fined $750,000 for trying to steal IP from QuantumScape, claiming supercapacitors breakthroughs and graphene production machine breakthroughs and solid state battery breakthroughs all with non-existent patents, lots and lots of never filed for let alone issued patents...

The problem is Henrik's confidence is way too high no matter the circumstances. He's also been less than truthful.

@@2023gainer 1) Fisker claimed 65,000 reservations end of February 2023 and they have sold 4,700, and now you say that there are 45,000 reservations? The Ocean is such a great car, that after seven months of deliveries the net of new orders and cancelled orders is about 23% fewer total reservations? Oh boy, where do I buy Fisker stock! 2) Those 65,000 reservations mostly never existed, and neither do the 45,000. 3) Even if this fantasy of all these people waiting for Oceans was right, Fisker cannot make a penny selling them after paying all the parts suppliers, Magna, the dealerships, and the employees at Fisker.

@@tribalypredisposed Long-term Investors not concerned about those numbers, only following the progress and loading the FSR Dips. Those numbers are ahead of production, so they are quite meaningless. As long as buyers get to test drive finally the top selling point.

@@2023gainer uhm, the last few quarters have been deliveries numbers and officially production started Nov 17th 2022. Over a year ago. Look, Magna makes the Jaguar I-Pace in the same factory, and that car is smaller than the Ocean, has a smaller battery pack, doesn’t have a big rotating screen, doesn’t have three more windows that roll down for California mode, doesn’t have a solar roof, doesn’t have bespoke recycled materials parts, and it sells for a few thousand more than the top priced Ocean through dealerships at a loss for Jaguar. Now tell me how Fisker will make a profit selling a car that has to cost at least eight thousand dollars more to manufacture for tens of thousands less than the Jaguar? The numbers don’t add up to profits, and Fisker doesn’t care since he already stashed away a few hundred million from selling stock of this scam company.

Ut's hard to watch this on 5/1/2024.

I think he's doing the right thing, look at Polestar they had to be sold to Geely because Volvo didn't have the money to keep supporting them, we'll have to see if Rivian can have a vehicle for around $40k. Lucid is a long way from selling a car for around $50k, so with that being said, Fisker Ocean can be profitable in a shorter time than the other start-ups.

IMO the Fisker Ocean is the best EV around right now.

Fisker bankrupted once about twelve years ago and took down A123 battery company with it by making a high volume production projection which in turn drove the A123 plant expansion. The utilization of the A123 plant was less than 10% because the Fisker projection failed. A123 with lots of debt from the plant expansion went bankrupt. Then, a Chinese company bought A123. Thanks a lot, Fisker.

But I have been maliciously trying to help people not be scammed by Henrik Fisker since 2015 all over the Internet. If anyone is interested I can go through the history of lies and scandals that is Fisker Inc, starting from their faux launch "coming out of stealth mode" with lies about a graphene production machine breakthrough and a supercapacitors breakthrough and claiming Jack Kavanough, retired dentist and scam artist, was a "nanotech expert" heading up their non-existent "battery division" and of course, they claimed to have patents for everything, and the US patent office which takes seconds to search completely disagreed. Within months Fisker claimed the supercapacitors were already in production at an undisclosed location. The supercapacitors were a science fair level device fitting in the palm of a hand and lighting a single LED. The graphene machine was literally a DVD burner. Never mind, then Henrik claimed to have a solid state battery breakthrough with fifteen patents. Again the US patent office completely disagreed. And Fisker was fined $750,000 by the court for trying to steal IP from QuantumScape. Then a bunch of gamblers gave Fisker a billion dollars for his "company" of himself, his wife, seven employees, and no facilities at all. But I am the malicious one?

"Fisker will sell no other vehicles" Fixed it for you, Henrik. They don't have the cash to make more Oceans, so they don't have even a whiff of the cash to launch new models. Fisker definitely is not going to be profitable, ever, either, with outsourcing everything. Just a question when Fisker goes bankrupt.
