Considering the crap you can face on lower difficulties, the luck based spam mazes, burning hot garbage... Getting out of there starting with a single life would be... Difficult.

Yeah it's possible he'll die to an automatic level first up but he will have to die 99 times on the first level to get down to one life so he should have a good idea of what to expect.

3:43 Honestly, I hate any situation in a game where there's an inordinate delay between dying and restarting. Anytime I die now with Breath of the Wild, I have to sit through the little cinematic, the theatrics of Link falling over, the jingle, and then slowly the "Continue/Quit" option pops up. Then the loading screen. Not the worst, by any stretch, but it's a 10-12 second restart, and in areas where there's a lot of trial and error, that gets irritating lol.

SAME. I love BOTW, but the loading is such a nuisance. I get why, the game is supposedly loading up the ENTIRE map every single time you die/teleport/load a save, and it's not exactly a small map, but it's still a pain.

he means 100 lives through all by starting the next run by taking off live until you had whatever lives he had last run. basically the 30th video when he got to super expert with 96 lives

There was another way to do that last one. You could jump on the shell after the mid-air. It's stuck in there and can go back and forth, and if you jump on it, you won't get trapped by the one ways.

I love Dan's suggestion about going into super expert only with the extra lives earned on the easier stages!!! With 3 potential extra lives per level, in theory it's possible to rack up100 lives by the start of super expert. Even with just the easy and medium levels, there are 72 potential extra lives. It would definitely be entertaining to see the creative ways RYU milks (or should I say cheeses) the extra lives. It might be too annoying for him to kill himself so many times at the beginning of each run. He never dies on the easy and medium levels anyway though, so it would probably be just as good to have a running counter of extra lives earned through those stages.

I like this channel, this is a good channel. I subscribed.

watching at 3:24 forget the pow and just run off the edge with the spring and spring jump. with this was live i could have told you to stop you from all your failed attemps. i literally just got this stage a few weeks before i seen this vid playing with my 8yo son and he came up with that idea and it worked!!!!!! also my son is Mason he watches all your videos on smm he loves them and thinks you look just like me and loves thats i think thats why he started watching you over all the other smm streamers keep up the awesome work we both are addicted to your vids even the non smm vids!! i would love to send you my collection of Mario hacks and watch you play them as most of them are out of my league and would love to see the endings

Opportunity In China one thing to think about is what kind of tv do you use? Those older games were made for crt tv's that don't have the display lag of modern flat screens. That little delay can be brutal at times.

Nice video Ryu! A question that was bugging me on the first stage since I've never played SMM. Wouldn't grabbing the spring and doing a spring jump under the munchers work?

Intense burning sensation stage, all you have to do is grab the shell and land on the one way that is sideways. Launch the shell, wait for the right time and jump off of the shell closer to the stack of spikes.

Last stage "INSTANT KARMA" for Ryu the Yoshi Killer

Expert run with 10-20 lives, where you have to one shot a level or skip it

Monster!

I think there's a cheese potential on the Yoshi level, when you go to the first pipe, it's sorrounded by spikes and you can jump off that to the donuts part (2nd pipe).
