WS= WHILE STANDING. It's how in tekken casually people call "while rising" WS for ya to know cause WR= WHILE RUNNING

As a dragunov main, i just press 1+2 and tackle them 😅 works like 70% of the time

Raven has a safe While Rising 3 Mid that can go into full combo so thank you for this i didn’t know

You can do the while raising wake up on both orientation while facing down in tekken 8

Meanwhile Kuma can just low sweep you when he get's knocked out

It depends on what move they used to knock you down, because some of them give Hwoarang a guaranteed hit afterwards. But in some situations, it's possible to avoid it by rolling on the ground.

It's either(depending on the move): Rolling on the ground or pressing up if hit slammed you and you fall face upwards OR Holding back if hit made you spin on the ground and fall face down

But Alisa has better options on the floor

Means you have to release the input you just did to put your controller on neutral position then pressing the next input to complete your move

But Tekken 8's mechanics are in favor to the pressure jugglers. No type of wake up can work to intercept their 20 hit juggle. No matter how many times you dropped or got slammed.

It was like this since T1. There were no combo breakers, air movement, burst and etc. If your scrubby ass gets launched, you take it all the hits either with honour or whine on the social media about how easy to break your orange rank impenetrable defence after

Certain combos can be tech'd to the RIGHT. Not all of them, but generally the off axis ones.

@@ametozukumazu6073 but in T1 to T3. You are less likely to take more than 10 hits cause the only landing option was a flat fall. You waking up the wrong way is the only way to get hit some more. It started to get worse when they added more landing types: bounce, wall hit, screw, and now tornado.

At least you can tech the landing by pressing 1 as soon as you hit the ground so you get up way faster than waiting to land then hitting U, B or DB.
