My Journey Into Commercial Match Fishing 👉 • My Journey Into Commer... | Here we go! I have a go at my first ever freshwater fishing match at Gold Valley Lakes, with absolutely no experience whatsoever! I wanted to see if an average angler can turn up at a big open match and compete at the highest level.
I go over what equipment I think you need to have a go on the commercial match fishing scene. I didn't really know what to expect from the whole experience, and I'm looking forward to learning more as this journey continues.
A few days later I had a go at a FishoMania qualifier at Todber. That will be the next video!

Just watched your fish o qualifier video, was brilliant! I’m going to start match fishing this year but via club matches so hopefully not such a shock! When is your next match?

When I used to Match Fish, Gold Vallley, the Guy we went with, Dave Wilkins, would on average have a total weight of over 350 Lbs..... He would be catching fish every couple of mins or so.. I am not sure if he still goes fishing there, as I am no longer in there area.
