An hour of live modular techno practice, no talking.

I’m rebuilding my #live #Eurorack Techno/Electro modular, making a few changes. Here is nearly an hour of chronologically edited moments from behind the scenes practice sessions (not a 'set', per se, more me exploring ideas). I'm noting its weak spots, but allowing time to confirm whether in fact the hardware is fine...but it’s the software that needs improvement (spoiler alert: it always does.)
➜ Here's my Patreon, please chip in if you can: / mylarmelodies 🙌
➜ Here's the system on ModularGrid to go investigate the modules: www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/v...
I will be making an overview video on where I'm at with this at the end of the month, please ask your questions and I'll try to include answers in the video!!

You already explained in great detail what Stevio does with the switch mults, any chance on giving more detail about what exactly he does with the precision adder? + Any good tips on the performance part itself, for example how do you continuously switch lead sounds and melodies while they are playing ? Do you audition the sounds in your headphones ? There are lots of videos on how to do a dj performance (from beat matching to transitions & tips and tricks) for modular there are only module videos and patch videos, but almost no how to perform with you modular groovebox videos ... Thanks for the guidance in my modular journey so far, cheers ...

Here's a handful: How do you approach sequencing? I see you're using the long awaited 2 grids setup AND a triggerriot! All for drums? Or are you sneaking in the steevio style here? How do you move on from a tune? You feel like you've come to the point that you need to progress. Do you always embrace the slow change? Or do you sometimes dive into the deep end and try to make a more radical change? I see you ditched the Dixie for the DCO (same here) why have you changed the Dixie and not the Plaits? Also the metropolis is a goner. Why the marbles and not the turing machine (Surgeon style)? Last but not least if you HAD to let go of the plaits what chord machine would you go to? (uBraids is my chord baby at the moment)

WOOOO killer vibes, Alex!! Marbles + 2 Grids seems like a killer combo: Are marbles acting as a replacement for your metropolis here? You seem to have trimmed down on modulation sources - Is this because you want to do more things manually? Is there a reason that you won’t use smaller DYI versions of modules to save space? Talk about those soundforce modules as well as that sisters filter! Kisses xoxo

Great jam as always, using two Grids is probably endless variations on your beats. 1) is dual grids a keeper? 2) do you improvise as you go with small evolving changes or do you actually prepare big changes? 3) how would you prepare a drop? (this is keeping me buzy for many days, I'd probably go for a polyend preset to attenuate many targets at once - and then boom) or maybe a DJ style filter. - also cool how the plant seems to grow into the patch cables :).
