AN HONEST TEACHER CHAT // a vlog on a professional development day & how I'm doing so far this year

This video shares a glimpse of what a professional development day as a high school English teacher can look like. This was a non-student day (a day that students have off but teachers need to go to school for meetings/professional development), and I was pleasantly surprised by what I got done!
Throughout this video, I chat about how the school year is going so far, and I'd love it if you would comment down below what YOU do to avoid burnout in your profession!

Small businesses to support:
✨ The Hooga Shop: I’ve loved using the music from them that I purchased a few years ago!
✨ modern made company: I absolutely love my neutral beaded lanyard!
✨ east nash teacher: I love my public school teacher tee that I often wear! She makes lovely teacher tees and resources.
✨ tiffinthemiddle: I own two of her tapestries (“Never Stop Learning,” “Progress Over Perfection”), and I absolutely love them!

And yes, set and protect your boundaries. Your time and energy is precious 💕 That's been my educator goal this year and I feel better this school year, feel more relaxed and sane hahaha Best of luck quarter 2!

@@pinkbubble8869Yesss good for you! What’s kind of funny is that I’m actually still on my temporary certification because my degrees were from a private institution, but I’m definitely working toward that certification! 😆👏
