Yeah you’re not wrong. Although his titles are more hyperbolic, I will say when he talks with Alex he’s pretty straight up about cards. Even more so lately. He’s definitely been calling them trash when they are lately.

Has no one run her in a Ramp Corvius deck yet. She's literally giving that deck 2 discounted 6 drops to either play or get discarded and returned by hela.

I think I would prefer Mirage over Valentina in Loki. People play good cards and a stronger cheap card seems better to me than the randomness that is more likely not so good. I could see Valentina being better farther in the future whenever we have even more good 6 drops to hit.

I played only 5 games after I got her. 3 times I got alioth and it was huge lucky I guess but the other 2 were orca which I won the lane the last was knull which didn't get played. Fun card

I skipped every card this month except white widow. I did pin Red Hulk as I figured he is gonna get nerfed. I haven't touched Loki since he costed 3. But yeah

I have a Havok list with Sunspot, Evolved Cyclops, and She-Hulk that I took to infinite this season. Looking to throw Valentina in there and see what happens.

Nice month of cards in my opinion. Im enjoying all of them Baron Zemo is a nice season pass card cuz he did bring a new archetype to the menu and thats not easy. Red Hulk is meta defining USAgent is very playable White Widow is a staple in Junk and a good card in other decks Red Guardian is a fantastic tech card overall Valentina is an excelent Loki card Great job from SD with March and April cards. We needed this 2 great months. February was very mid and January and December were absolutely terrible months.

I have to agree. It's a Loki support card, but it looks fun.

So if you get Dr. Doom with her, Dr gets his power nerfed. So does his doombots get nerfed as well? if so a 2 drop bots not good.

I was lucky...I got her with my first spotlight key...So far this gal from Seinfeld has not really done anything spectacular except lower my 6 costs by 3 power...but I give her a 2 star but potential to get to 4...

@@rathalosdreadking6952 ah I get your point now, but they are also kind of reducing the value of paid bundles as gold is often a large part of what you’re getting there. I think we can agree that they’re just getting more greedy but I refuse to spend my gold on cosmetics only. Also they won’t get me with awful value gold bundles like the recent one for elektra. Diamond hands!

@@biffleslegit8985 I haven’t played Zoo in a while but it used to be 1 of my faves. Would catch people off-guard with Sandman. Only retreat when I’d be out-powered. Like Lamby says better to retreat than risk.

It's the opposite, you don't need mocking bird to play Loki. Anyway I highly recommend you to acquire Elsa if you already have kitty pride

I was very fond of the meta shifting... but this meta is extremely frustrating... and data mining is bringing more mill friendly cards... I have no fun on playing with half my deck! Thinking on giving marvel snap a rest

I feel like Valentina is more miss than hit it a lot more of the times right now. Shes going to need more universally good 6 cost cards to balance out the chance of her pulling usable cards.

I'd rather play cable because i can already guarantee valentina would only give me knull and cable really messes with opponents plans

Taking a death/knull, red hulk, pheonix force, etc. gives you access to an early snap condition that leaves your opponent guessing. You can drastically reduce possible final turn playlines that you have to worry about while your opponent wonders if you took or, or they just didn't draw it. I wouldn't downplay his ability

Kinda fun but not essential.

I'll be a self proclaimed "card creation" main here and say that this is business as usual. Card creation has always been an uphill battle, with the sole exception being when Loki swapping would power up Collector. It hurt having them take away the first pop off for the deck (how many games have you seen destroy or discard hit high numbers?) Loki remains one of the few pieces to card creation to give it a decent chance at being truly competitve. I'd love to see more options come to card creation, it is easily the funnest playstyle, but they could also help by just buffing Nick Fury and White Queen. Its crazy how much the zabu nerf hurt Card creation, but its been rough.

lag is unbearable in this game

I love playing Loki but I skip Val. I pref Cable for the early Information and the possibility to mess up the deck of the opponents. I pref the chance stealing a key card and early snap.

Naah I think this is the worst card of the season and still I prefer to put Mirage or Cable in my deck. PASS.

Here’s the problem with Valentina. If the 6-cost card with -3 power was the best card for your deck, you would literally just have that 6-cost card in your deck already without the -3 downside. Most 6-cost cards are in a deck for a VERY specific reason, and if they’re not then they’re probably not good for the deck. It’s the same reason why they completely changed Chavez and the same reason why rushing to fill The Raft is always a goofy strategy.

I won't say Raft is silly. Plus you can prevent your opponent from filling it, even if you don't personally get value from it.
