@@Flutterbyby Thank you! Just had to do a bit of hunting around for it. Their channel is called Beneath the Surface and is linked in the description in one of the older videos featuring them on this channel (for anyone who sees the above comments and wondering). They totally fill a feeling of lack I had no idea how to put words to. All I know is, now, that anything and everything I ever wished, and hoped for and asked for from my existing family was never ever too much (it was nowhere near enough). Even though it has always been implied that's it's too much / unreasonable etc.

Hi Nathaniel, I’ve watched a lot of your videos & love the way you explore life & wisdom. I know you know this - so it’s not a critique - just an observation - you have a very privileged life. At 25, to have travelled so widely, learned so much …to live in a beautiful flat in Paris with amazing decor & view…to have parents who are so loving, affirming & wise (& they are not very old either). I know your life has its challenges but I hope you do appreciate every moment..because compared to many/most people’s experiences, your life is a dream come true. Keep doing what you’re doing. I love to live vicariously through your videos & enjoy the nuggets of wisdom & Joie de vivre…& pastries! Your videos bring joy…they are interesting & fun. Best of all, you are constantly seeking & learning & that is what makes life interesting & worthwhile or us all. 💙❤

I imagine myself being like your parents when in my future. I’m sure they made a lot of sacrifices in their own personal young lives to be at this point where they’re successful. You have no idea how fortunate your parents are and it’s because they put in the work. They actually had a conversation with you. I know there’s a lot of healthy families and it’s not uncommon for parents to be present in their kids lives but basically I just want to praise them because to be the way your parents are takes guts. Trust me.

The sincronicity was insane, and learned tons of awareness thanks to you. At that time I got into a relationship that finished 3 weeks ago, unfortunately an experience that ended up diminshing myself, not taking care of my person, time, and values. Living it with the (not) "Love" your mum describes on the table. Now it's time to heal, and surprinsingly -or not- I returned to your channel, popped the most recent video, and voilà, again, feeling your steps. I don't know what happened to you during these 2 years, but I'm glad that we both realized it's time to find our inner harmony, peace, and learn to put boundaries around us. Hi Nathaniel, this message is for your parents: Cito: "...you don't know how to put boundaries because just like me you don't want to please, you confused that doing that for others is love and so do I and that's not love, love is when you show up genuine and you're clear about what your needs are and what you really want and you say it from a place of peace so you need to find your peace... if you find your peace it's so much easier to put boundaries and to know what you want". Harmony.

Here's a really simple plant tip that helped my make pretty much all of my plants survive and avoid over watering: Put a finger in the soil. If the soil is moist, don't water it. And no, not even if it seems like it has been a while since you did it last. Is it dry(ish) - then water it. Water it well (always pots with drainage) so that the water runs all the way through. That's it for water - it's really simple. Then there's light. Most plants don't do well in complete darkness og blasting sun, but it depends on the specific plant. The middle way is to make sure most of your plants have at least some sort of indirect light throughout the day.

Hi Nathaniel, I'm a 14-year-old kid who does KZread and I've been really inspired by your art, I love the way you explore ideas in such a way that captivates my mind. You really inspired me to embark on this KZread journey, I know you get a lot of comments so I know you might not see this. The last point is that I Feel like we could've really been mates in another timeline we have things in common but it's just that fate is something else, I'm just a 14-year-old kid from South Africa who loves exploring ideas and philosophy but anyways if you see this I hope we can connect THANK YOU!

As someone who also feels like they do best on this kind of schedule and living a bit slower at times, thank you for this. I often feel judged or like I can’t obtain this life and still succeed but this just encourages me to continue trying to allow this lifestyle

Wow! What a piece of wisdom and inspiration for self-reflection this video was 🤩🤯 Your mom's truth-bomb about letting things settle. So simple and yet so mind-blowing. I actually had to pause the video and get my journal out since it sparked so many crucial thoughts that I didn't want to forget. In addition to all the ideas, I'm pretty sure she solved a major challenge I've been facing at work by putting this idea into words. I can't thank her enough! 🙏 I spent the rest of the video, just watching ang pausing, writing in journal, watching again. And pausing again to write 😄 From the pressure to try to distinguish yourself to losing the quality of work because of some urge to rush things to finding peace. This video was exactly what I needed in this moment of my current life. The perfect video at the perfect time.

I've been stressed, anxious, and sleep-deprived from senior year of high school; this video gave me so much more clarity on why I'm pursuing my own goals and what I'm truly after.
