Just to be clear, they didn't "design" the current shoe. They basically just slapped a logo on some $15 Amazon shoes and charge a $85 profit. Hopefully they are actually designing a new model.

...as long as it is a skate shoe, then yes. Because plenty of non-skate shoes get instantly destroyed in minutes if you try to skate them.

Not watching John’s videos as regularly as I used to. They have been my daily must watch for a long time. Yes it pays his bills. But why is mentioning a sponsor once not enough? His videos have been about skating and having fun. They have more and more become about marketing and big bucks.

Came here to say this! Glad I saw your post before I wrote the exact thing. He might not be everyone’s cup of tea personality wise or whatever. But his reviews are no BS.

This man’s vids are really good I look up to u man! Keep that amazing work up!

Oh and the gum on the ball of my front foot shoe wore out in a couple months and i never got a “kickflip hole”. Usually i go through a pair of adidas sb’s in a few weeks.

Been waiting on this review, I saw the reviews you mentioned and I thought it seemed a little negative too, sick to see🤙

I have a pair just for casual wear, I find them to be very comfortable and I like the clean look.

Your song selection always sets it off PERFECTLY. small request : Turn volume up for talking parts, or down for skating clips? I find Im always adjusting depending on the part and Its probably just a me problem cuz i'm always watching late at night, trying to avoid waking up the wife while she sleeping lol.

I friggin' love mine from the first run, definitely feel pre-worn in and comfy right from the start. My only qualm with mine is the inside felt dye will come off onto my socks or skin if my feet sweat, don't know if they have fixed that with the later releases.

6 plus million people like Brielle, always going to have people who hate you no matter what you do. I'm not a massive fan of their content...how ever I'm a fan of the skating they all do and a fan for what they have done/ doing for skatebaording. My kids love them and have learnt alot from them. So all in all good on them. In my opinion anyway

@TaketheK I N G D O M no I mean like I’m not asking for a shoe to help me do heels like Neen but more asking for a shoe that supports heel flips. Towards my ankle is wear my shoe deteriorates the most. New “skate” vans only give you the extra support for other flips that use the toe area:/ I’ve always been able to do heelflips but my shoes go bye bye too soon soon lol

I like John Hall, he's a great guy and great skater; but he'd have no chance at BATB against Johnny Giger or the top pros like P-Rod or Ladd. He just doesn't have the depth or consistency
