I love this neat, clean and well manicured garden. Fabulous!

My mum is also an avid gardener. I asked her when her love of gardening started. She told me, when she was a little girl growing up in Jamaica she would find an old tin can, fill it with mud and put a plant in it. Her family would make fun of her asking why she was growing weeds in a can. Now at 86, living in England, she still gardens every day. I think it has been one of her greatest joys.

Some of these plants can be found in the bushes, on side walks and the orchid grows on the trees in Jamaica. We used to climb the trees and get them.

Heard of Hamsville bfore but had the pleasure of visiting the garden yesterday for the first time, honestly it left me speechless, it was really a beauty to behold, heavenly it is, I went there very very hungry & told myself I wouldn't be staying long but I spent more than 2hrs there forgetting about d hunger, when I saw Ernie's beautiful garden , my tummy was filled, love his vast knowledge of botanical names for all his plants, I too try to know d names of all my plants , which r but a few, Nice interview. Kudos to Ernie & his magnificent garden, "A beauty to Behold"
