You never mentioned anything about Govt College for women Sahiwal, which has a great history and a fantastic story. You should have mentioned Mrs Tasneem Hassan Shah, who served the College for 28 years, from 1951 to 1982. She dedicated her life to building the Govt College for Women Sahiwal from a small inter-college in the civil lines area's run-down building to a vast, newly purpose-built college that became a beacon of knowledge in the district of Sahiwal. The Govt College for Women Sahiwal has an extraordinary story to be told to the people of Sahiwal. A lady who never promoted herself quietly served the nation's daughters in Sahiwal for nearly three decades. Mrs Shah, as she was known to the people of Sahiwal, happened to go house to house convincing the parents to send their daughters to study in College in the 50s and the 60s. She believed that educating the girls would create a good foundation for a newly created Pakistan. Mrs Shah was selfless, honest and full of integrity. The people of Sahiwal recommended her name many times for Sitara e Khidmat. Still, it never reached Islamabad as she never went to please any commissioner in the Multan division at the time. Mrs Tasneem Hassan Shah was one of the leading educationists and a Mathematician of Pakistan who was taught by a top female Mathematician from Madras (now Chennai) university and Cambridge, namely Miss Veeda Thakurdas. There is a lot more to share.
