The frustration over bad customer service in Africa (I'm mentioning Africa because I live in Africa and already experienced some African countries) is appalling. I live now in Angola and can tell that the shops are always happy to get your money when you buy but when it comes to the after sales/customer service when troubles come, they greatly lack professionalism and they basically don't help. Pep of Angola is one of those shops where the meaning of guarantee in South Africa is different from the ones in Angola, Unitel (the biggest telecom company in Angola and the one I use) also is totally crappy for customer after sales service...I can go on and on with the banks of this country and many shops. All of this just to say that I get your frustration but thank you for honoring God by remaining patient and slapping no one 🙂. Your machine looks nice. I've never heard before of the brand but I'm glad to learn of its existence

Thanks for the info, I was contemplating getting a fridge from them but they were more expensive than other outlets. I got the exactly what I wanted about 20K less from the manufacturer, it was on sale. And they delivered the very next day!

People, for appliances always try go to the direct manufacturer or dealer NOT a supermarket, shipping is more efficient & manufacturers work on & honour warranty related issues way faster/quicker than supermarkets or 2nd tier retailers.

It can but a small one... I dry clean my duvets though so I didn't need a big machine for duvets

Carrefour have their own prejudices. I prefer to buy large items from Naivas and Quickmart. At least these are Kenyan supermarkets

I have not shopped from carrefour since they told me they don't go past 1st Floor and the apartment I live in am on 3rd Floor. That time I was on ground floor and it was a push to have them get the fridge n microwave I had bought inside my house yet I was alone. Since then I just window shop and get from other places

@@WanguiGathogo This is true, what they advise against is chlorine based bleach, like what you have just used. Buy oxy bleach, its safe for machines. They have them both in liquid form like the jik colours is an oxy bleach and powder oxy bleach brands like Velveta, Magic's and Astonish.... they're in careffour

All my electronics are from Carrefour. My experience with them has been great so far. I love their offers you can get items for up to 70% discount. I think the person who served you didn't explain all the perks. I'm sorry about your experience

I had a negative experience with carrefour (TRM) delivering appliances....purchased a fridge made the payment...only to be told it could only be delivered to first floor...then was in 3rd floor....I had to ask for refund...went and shopped in Naivas
