An Excellent Budget Ebike | Ride1Up Turris Review

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The Turris has a lot of quality components that offer great value for money, especially considering the recent price drop to just $1,095 USD. This Class 3 is dubbed as an "adventure e-bike", making it a great fit for people who do a blend of city riding and off-road adventuring. With a powerful 750-watt rear hub motor and an upgraded Altus pedaling drivetrain, it's easy to reach the max speed of 28mph, and - unlike many similarly priced e-bikes - the Turris feels safe and stable while doing so. It's available in both high-step and step-thru frame styles, but can only be bought online as Ride1Up does not have a dealer network.

The green version of this is one of favorite e bike designs I've ever seen. On my wishlist for sure

You're one talented bike rider! All that no-handed, talking-to-the-camera nonsense :P Great review, dude! Seems like a very cool bike.

@@ElectronRiderTech Agreed!! This thing is incredible. I can't wait to get some slick tires on it. I just figured out how to get it to go 28 mph. Oh, boy! And it pulls my trailer fully loaded, up some steep ass hills. I'm in northern VT and the roads suck. Thanks for the vid. It was very influential in my purchase. I guess that makes you an influencer. lol

I’d be careful dealing with this company. I bought a Turris in June and it was a complete mess. Rear brakes were faulty and needed to be replaced, controller needed to be replaced TWICE, and the motor was faulty and also (you guessed it) needed to be replaced. Got it all taken care of eventually but it took three months of me nagging them. Basically wasted the whole summer season. They need to seriously reassess how they handle quality control before I’d consider buying anything from them in the future.

Oh man, that sucks! Thanks for sharing your experience. Sometimes it's hard for me to comment on quality control since companies are careful to send me a perfect review unit 😬

I’ve assembled many of these bikes and other Ride1up models for customers. On the whole, I’ve been very pleased with overall quality and excellent customer support. Your issues are not a normal reflection of R1U bikes or service. I’m not an employee of the company.

To clarify. Many Ride1up bikes assembled means over 250. Sorry you had a bad experience. It can happen with any company selling e-bikes

Yeah that sucks, I have two Turris bike (1 bought a year ago, other just bought a couple weeks ago) and both are awesome and I didn’t have any issues. I did have to make some adjustments to the front brake on one of them but nothing I had to take to a shop to fix. I’ve got 300 mile on one and 40 on the new one and both are running great.
