La mia opinione, su Bocelli è l'unico cantante che mi emoziona, mi da una gioia di vivere, anche quando parla racconta della sua vita. É una persona vera, grazie di esistete.

If the PBS date on this (2002) is when they filmed this, it was very close to the time his wife, Enrica, asked for a separation and he was feeling very lost and sad (according to his autobiography "The Music of Silence"). His birthday party was a very special time when his good friends and family wanted him to feel loved & this video is evidence of that. How could you not love this man???

Nancy Foster - Thanks for sharing this. I'm sure she loved him but think it's because Andrea traveled so much, never home, typical story. Also, he met his second wife around this time so who knows? love is complicated

ROBERTA FATUR - he was prepared to deal with his eventual blindness by his parents, sent him to boarding school when he was little, tore his mother's heart out but she was strong for her son, tough love. he is an amazing man
