Who cares where she was born, she is simply a talented artist with a soulful voice. Indians have emigrated to all parts of the world in pursuit of a better life. So it’s natural to have 2nd, 3rd or even 4th generation kids who like any other people, want to pursue their passions. Why do “Indians/Pakistani “ citizens feel they are the only ones who have rights to OUR culture and heritage? I don’t even speak Urdu/Hindi but I still feel moved by the songs and a connection to my ancestors and family values. South Asians excel and succeed anywhere we go. Yeah!

Very nice flow in selection of songs, like a storyline. 1. Heer - courtship 2. Zindagi meh toh sab Pyaar - emotions of love and promises. 3. Lambi judaii - pain of separation. 4. Tum ko dekha - memories of times spent. 5. Sada chiriyan da - sadness of leaving behind parents' home and childhood memories for new beginning. 6. Sanu ek pal - expressing longing to be with the love. 7. Hontho se - no limits to feeling the love. 8. Chithiyeh - periods between distances and reminders of love shared. 9. Aaj jaane ki zid - longings and desires to spend as much time together.
