Loved that drive up to Smokey Mountain and out to Alstrom Point. Crosby Canyon is also a fun drive.

Great trip! I took Poison Springs canyon a couple years ago and camped at the spot where Butch Cassidy was carved. Then we kept going and camped at Sunset pass. Then we headed into the Maze and it looks like you guys headed south towards Lake Powell. Then we spent the next 3 days running to the Dollhouse and then to the Maze overlook and then up the Flint switchbacks. Did that trip with a couple other rigs and I was in my Powerwagon! Great memories

It is an awesome area of the country. We are mapping full trail guides for Poison Springs (if we can cross the Dirty Devil), Flint Trail, Maze Overlook, Doll House, Cleopatras Chair and Panorama Point as those trails are world class!

Most offroaders are family, doesn't matter if you known them forever or just meet them 10 seconds ago. That is one of the reasons offroading is one of a kind. -- Thank you for watching.

My wife and I did the steps in 2018. We loved it!!!! Many great memories were brought back with this video. Like the older couple in their Toyota Highlander we met on Smokey Mountain Road, white knuckled on the steering wheel asking in a stuttering voice, "how much further to Escalante"? County road doesn't always mean a good road out there as the trail of car parts attested too. We spent a night above Kelly Grade overlooking Lake Powell and another night at Alstrom Point, magical. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Not ideal, we usually try to space out far enough to stay out of the dirt. Most of the time we are in the dust is either the wind is blowing direct at us, or going through turns.
