An Epic Journey Around The Milky Way | Space Documentary 2024

Ғылым және технология

Billions of years ago, our Milky Way was a cosmic cradle, birthing stars and forging the elements. Witness the birth of massive blue giants and the fiery explosions that shaped our galactic neighborhood.
We’ll soar through vast nebulae-the celestial factories where stars ignite. Nebulas, like cosmic clouds, sculpt new suns, and their colors reveal the secrets of stellar evolution. Our Milky Way isn’t a simple spiral; it’s a majestic barred spiral. Explore the central bar-a bustling hub of stars, gas, and perhaps even a supermassive black hole.
Beyond the visible disk lies the enigmatic galactic halo. Ancient stars, globular clusters, and dark matter weave a cosmic tapestry. What secrets hide in this celestial veil? Brace yourselves for the grand finale-a plunge toward Sagittarius A*, our Milky Way’s supermassive black hole. Could it hold the key to understanding the universe’s deepest mysteries?
So ignite your curiosity, and join us on this epochal journey. From the Orion Arm to the Perseus Spur, we’ll unravel the Milky Way’s story-one light-year at a time.

When I was in late 70s in horn Africa viewing night sky was something that fascinated me. The absence of clouds and artificial light exposed billions of galleries, stars, planets and artificial satellites. The view was absolutely priceless. Things changed. The globalization brought pollution in every environment.

Great information and wonderful representation 😇 57:20, there is another theory being proposed that these super/ultra massive Black Holes might have been formed due to the direct collapse of very giant dust clouds during primordial universe.

Love science documentaries. But, because so much of astronomy has to be explained with animation, it is not always certain if the mind behind the presentation is a real person or artificial intelligence. This is one of the better, modern presentations. Good at presenting sizes and distances with continuous reference back to our Earth, Sun and Solar system for comparison. It makes sense to provide both Imperial and Metric measurements for an international audience. Also does a good job of naming the people who made the major breakthroughs in astronomy in the last 300 years, from Messier to Hubble. This might be the most intelligent report on its channel. The rest looks dubious.

I love the information in this documentary, very systematically presented and easy to follow. The only thing that’s bugging me is the AI narration. I was on the fence until the heliosphere bit when the word “buffet” was pronounced as a noun rather than a verb. I’m sure there are no plates of food in space 😅 Sorry if that’s a bit picky! A Type VII or K7 civilization would travel, transcend and potentially encompass the omniverse which is the collection of every single universe, multiverse, megaverse, paraverse, 11d dimension and 1st realm (reality). It is likely that such power would come from an individual rather than a civilization, as the civilization would have transcended and merged into a single mind that would encompass all thoughts and all timelines, thus being omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient within the confines of the 11 dimensions of the omniverse. Such a being is godly, but not to be confused with the Creator who is the ultimate supreme being outside of reality.

A Type V civilization would be advanced enough to to escape their universe of origin and explore the multiverse. Such a civilization would have mastered technology to a point where they could simulate or build a custom universe. They will have mastered the new laws of physics and have almost complete control over the fabric of reality. Now, humanity is basically impossible to destroy by its own inhabitants, which has reached the decillions.

If so they probably come for entertainment to observe our hundreds of nations squabbling over tiny patches of dirt and conflicting religious mindsets that shape our small planet like a forgotten ant farm experiment.😢

It extracts its energy, information, and raw materials from fission and fusion power, and renewable resources; is capable of interplanetary spaceflight and communication; mega-scale planetary engineering; medical breakthroughs to eliminate disease and slow ageing; multiplanetary government and interplanetary trade; species is tech augmented; but is still vulnerable to extinction.
