Blake Garvey With the way Conor has been talking about being the UFC, I'd say Dana not feel so bad if he loses. Rogan is tight with Team Alpha Male so I don't think he'll be that bummed out. Ronda's loss is probably what made Rogan rethink his career.

It's the hype for favorites in betting. They had page fight 2 nobody's and she was favored to win against the underdog rose namajunas the winner of TUF. Yeah 70% of ppl who put money on it lost. Not saying vanzant sucks but they knew she would lose so the bookies who work for Dana white will give u a 3:1 or 2:1 and say u wont lose. Only real mma fans kno. Also paid judges have the last say who wins or foul refs.

Having to endure a public emotional scouring like this in the midst of at least personal feelings of disgrace must be pretty damn rough. Surprised more fighters don't cry, honestly, they're still people and it sucks to get the shit beat out of you and see your stock wane at the same time, lose that hoped-for bigger purse, and put you in limbo as to where you go next...

Nick Pagano Pretty ok but what I don't like is overrated fighters who are more hype than skill. They were almost exclusively saying her record was 4-0 this and 4-0 that and her getting a title shot if she got past Rose. She'd fought nothing but tomato cans exclusively and the only times she's fought real pro's she got dominated. Anyone who knows anything about the sport knew this chick was nothing but hype.

Seems like people really shit on Vanzants technique, but she is only 21. And she fought out of crazy bad submissions. Lot of heart and beautiful and young girl. She'll be a fan favorie within 3 years (if she stays with it)

Paige should not be upset she left everything in there and when I say everything I mean everything. When she was getting choked and a pool of blood was forming on top of her eye and she survived it. What a beast

I have to say that the first time i saw Vanzant fight there just wasnt anything really that spectacular about her fighting. She grinded things out, was tough but there wasnt that raw power or snap in the punch or anything like that, nothing that sets her apart from the other girls. As she started to fight top fighters i kinda had the feeling this would happen. She's cute and all and everyone likes to imagine a cutie that can whoop some ass but she just never had that thing and i dont believe she ever will ... maybe she proves me wrong.

I wouldn't really call that a fight, it was more like Rose training with a walking heavy bag. She was making the most rookie mistakes that even white belts could figure out, like throwing a kick without using the back of your forearm to protect from elbows/strikes.

It was the most brutal beat down in the history of the division. It would have been a 50-40 if Rose hadn't finished her in the fifth. I still don't understand how Paige's arm didn't break.

Paige is still amazing - very very difficult to realize how good a fighter she is by looking because she is creative and has above average stamina. Now she needs to upgrade precision technical and like the terminator she will be back.

Fight came too early for her against someone of Rose's quality. It didn't help that her eye was full of blood from her cheek injury. It must have badly affected her vision. Showed real toughness though. You can learn technique but you can't learn toughness.

I say that the two nicest girls in the MMA were in the ring that night the loser took her beating and was forthright in her loss and the winner was humble in her victory. If only all sports people could behave like these two girls they are both wonderful ambassadors for the UFC.

The first time I saw Paige fight, I saw major flaws in her technique, and in her balance and style. Couldn't see what all the hype was about. She needs much more seasoning before taking on more experienced fighters. The kid rushed herself. You're not gonna turn into a Rhonda Rousey after 3 fights, ladies.

Tell you what, Vanzant showed that she has heart. She was well caught in a couple of serious submission moves that would have had most people tapping. Rose Namajunes had a great fight and showed her class, but Vanzant should hold her head high as well. Fighting against a legitimate champion is a test of skill, heart, stamina, mental and physical strength. I’m glad to see that some of the nonsense and bullshit is being reined in and some of the respect and self discipline is coming back. Well done ladies, best fight in ages.
