Shyama's family bids her farewell with tears as she heads to her in-laws' home. An ecstatic Sujata, who is still unaware that Nikhil married Shyama, awaits Nikhil and Priyanka's arrival at Nikhil's house. Following the departure of Shyama and Nikhil, Rukmini informs Shyama's family of the amount of money that Krishnacharan had borrowed from her and threatens to put Krishnacharan's family in jail should anyone discover Radharani's true identity.

The protagonist of the tale is a dark-skinned girl named Shyama, who aims to eradicate the shame associated with color. She marries Nikhil and experiences prejudice because of her skin tone. She embarks on a quest to forge her own identity as a gifted vocalist. Shyama thinks her skin tone is similar to Lord Krishna's. Following her marriage, she pursues a career in music, which completely transforms her life. Although Shyama's mother-in-law despises her, over the course of a few years, she grows to love her and even lets her sing.
