Great vid and you kept it really simple. In a part 2, perhaps you could talk about number of “teeth” on the pinion and while you mention “mod 1” you don’t go into what that means. Same for sensored and sensorless. Still, it’s a basic guide so no criticism implied and really helpful.

Hi mate I have a ftx carnage brushless I've only just started getting into rc cars, I had a 65t plastic spur with a 17t pinion standard I want faster acceleration for rallying about, I've bought a 49t metal spur and 13t pinion but it's no faster and I can't find a high t metal spur anywhere for it just hardened plastic ones, can u give me any advice on where I can get a high t metal spur and small t pinion that will fit the carnage plzzz Ps your video really helped with gearing info

Dude you clearly don't understand how current actually works, you probably shouldn't be giving advice. Amps and amphours are not the same, you need to multiply your amphours by your C rating to calculate amperage.... Raising either one delivers more amps to the ESC.
