From Alpspitze to Kreuzeck you can walk in 1 hour. The route is very easy and scenic.
The Alpspitze is the second most popular mountain in the Bavarian Alps after the Zugspitze. Its peak reaches 2628 meters above sea level.
The Alpspitze cable car is located 3 km from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. A daily parking ticket (Tageskarte 7.00-21.00) costs 5 euros here (2023).
A ticket for the funicular costs 33.50 euros and is called Garmisch-Classic. This price includes the ascent and descent to one of the two peaks - Alpspitze and Kreuzeck. Moreover, you can climb to one peak and descend from a completely different one.
