About 20 years ago, RW used to advertised themself throughout my country, they were on a lot of clock in public places and TV. Sadly i noticed the brand has been slowly disappearing. This watch is a stunner, might be a comeback for RW! For a sector dial, i like this even more than Longines.

First RW that's ever looked tempting to me, very nice!

I do absolutely love the vintage feel of the watch. And I agree the Super-LumiNova makes for an incredibly memorable design.

What a beautiful watch, and as you said Teddy, it is not their typical design language. Hope they keep it up on exploring different looks.

I hope the misalignment of the "Swiss Made" text on the silver dial variant is due to the watch being a pre-production or marketing sample. Oddly enough it looks fine on the anthracite dial variant.

Not only the "swiss made", but also the marker for the 30 seconds in the dedicated dial who is misaligned with the 6hours/30 minutes of the principal dial

What do you mean by misaligned? Looks OK to me. Edit: nvm I see it on the white one. Probably just bad QC.

The white dial on retail versions demonstrated by a few other European channels are all fine, including GPHG's own video of it. This is probably a pre-production model with a mocked up dial.

Love the silver dial. Was looking at one of their silver dial moonphases recently. Ultimately ended up scrapping that idea and going with a Mühle but I think this one make get me back in with RW.

It's a lovely watch, it just doesn't make any sense to buy new, at grey market/second hand prices it'll be a good purchase.

My first luxury watch was a RW freelancer with the open balance black dial. Macy's had a sale on it half price so I jumped on it and it's definitely a great watch. Next watch is a longines legend diver grey dial 42 to commemorate hitting 1000 subs

Very nice! Only nitpick is brushed flat bezel and flat sides feel less dressy.

i like it...had subtle f.p journe vibes...im also called Ray and was born the year before they came about as a watch manufacturer...never really considered them before but this one jumps out as looking exceptionally classy.

I guess that ideally you don't want any part of a watch to be lacking. But if I had to pick one part, I would certaintly pick something as replaceable as the strap.

This is not specific only to Teddy, but why do presenters feel the need to describe the watch appearance in such minute details, when we can certainly see them? Like describing the dial. Instead, maybe focus on the details we don't see, like how it feels, etc.

Ah raymond weil, i remember my mother had one that my dad bought for her when they was young and really treasured it before but it broke already. She really sad this brand already kinda disappear from my country and no one in my country can do her watch restoration.

Notice on the white one- the horizontal line on the dial goes slightly above the “9” marker and then lines up on the “3”, but then on the black dial the line looks much more centered…. Anyone else see that?

Not just the lines.. look at that “Swiss made” on the white dial..

I wear daily an RW classic Toccata with roman numerals and a perfect size 42mm by 6mm thickness....YES 6mm. They also have it in 39 by 8.5 mm.

If they had used an interesting / well finished movement in this watch, it would've been a home run.

For the price it has a great movement.

The "Automatic" printing is not necessary for a dressy watch's dial, even more so when it's an open caseback showing the movement clearly. I can argue the "Swiss Made" could be get rid off too, especially when it's misaligned like on the white version in this video.

I think this is the first time I see someone with credibility talk highly of Raymon Weil

The outside track is too busy for a dress watch. There are better choices.

38mm would’ve been a better size with a date function at 6 o’clock location.

This could have been almost a homerun for me since im a softie for vintage inspired designs. But, and its a big BUT, for me the printing of "Automatic" on the sub dial ruins the design of the dial. Such a same... or maybe its just me....

Pointless advertising this to WIS. The watch could be a rebadged Calatrava but they'll never be interested in it. They're too unimaginative and too bought into their own press to buy something like this from a brand they have studiously been denigrating for 25 years.
