Soooo yeah... I saw a Surfliner coach. In Illinois. Is there anything more I could say?
(Btw it probably was just being delivered.)

With the Hoosier State eliminated cars from Beech Grove to Chicago can only move 3 days week when the Cardinal runs.

That is correct.The entire fleet is over 20 years old.
yeah living on the surfline you can tell all these cars need refurbishment, that's what they were likely doing here they also were sending some cabcars up there recently such as 6900

Yea, I remember seeing another at the Amtrak yard in Chicago. Looks like Amtrak is following in Metra's steps (for the cars at least)

In my train ride video, there was another at the Chicago yard. Eventually, they will all be refurbished.
