I’m literally an addict. I’ve watched the entire series at least twenty times and that’s not to mention how many I’ve watched certain seasons. Season 4 is probably my favorite. Season 7 is the saddest followed by season 9. I can relate to every character. Creed might be my favorite!!

I think Steve Carell said it best when asked time and time again to do a reboot. He basically said that you cannot recreate Camelot. The Office happened at the time and with the people it was meant to and it ended the way it was meant to end, I think you leave something this perfect alone. It is like a work of art.

Once he left, it never felt like The Office again. Myself and many others knew months in advance that he was leaving the show. I heard from a lot of people that it wouldn’t hurt the quality of the show, even hearing from one of my friends that “oh Jim and Pam will carry the show for another 3 or 4 seasons, they’re the heart of The Office anyway” and no disrespect to Jim and Pam but a lot of the interest in them was gone after Niagara, because we didn’t get another 3 or 4 seasons, we got one pretty crappy one that had a few moments and the god awful season 9 (with the exception of the Finale). Michael Scott was the heart of the show. It’s why I was thrilled when he showed up in the series finale, because even though it was just a small cameo, it just felt right, after enduring how terrible the last season was, we had finally come full circle and it was The Office once again. I’m glad I watched season 8 and 9 despite not liking them, but in my 5 rewatches of the show, I always watch the first seven seasons, then skip ahead to the final three episodes

@@kellijones6481 I couldn’t agree more. I feel like Steve Carrels departure from the show shouldn’t have even been reality as the final 2 seasons could have been so much more with him included but honestly I think it was Rainn Wilson (Dwight Shrute) who carried the final seasons as his character development from season 1-9 was absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t change it for a thing. The show could’ve been so much more entertaining and enjoyable if Steve Carrel had stayed on but it is what it is.

Then, I would start catching later season eps on Comedy Central and thought they were hilarious. It didn’t even resemble what it would become until ep. 6 of season 1 and the first great episode was season 2 ep. 10, The Hunting Trip. Once Rob Lowe and Adam Scott joined the last 2 eps. of season 2, it really caught its stride.

Interesting watching this it picks up on the rumours that Steve Carrell didn’t totally choose to leave and at the time he did and that the network didn’t want him ( god knows why but that has been a rumour for a while) . In the same way they seemed to dislike how big Steve became they punished Ed Helms for his Hangover success by giving him crappy stories in the end, ruining Andy and ending him as a failure and a fool.

I've heard about some unofficial spin-off "Accountants" and about childhood of Dwight, but never found them on Internet. Together with it, the spin-off, about Jim, the "Quite Place" was very good.

@@robertarnott3210 Why not? They took same actor, but now he kind of married and grown up, and created some funny story about aliens, who look like Venom, but the are "bad guys". Btw, there is Quite Place Two, I've seen the trailer, so Jim and his youngest son are alive!

One of my favorite shows of all time and each time I watch it I get filled with joy but a bit of sadness that it’s over. I know it’s already been 10 years since it ended I still miss it so much. It just hit my funny bone and hit my heart in all the right ways.

Great job man. Seriously, this is better than anything NBC could have made about The Office, and perfectly exemplifies why independent content makers should not be marginalised, penalised, or interfered with by KZread or "rights holders" - especially when those parties are ultimately benefiting from the inevitable propulsion of viewership that this kind of stuff creates.

In the beginning Jim’s talking heads were always shot with a view of the outside world to indicate that he had a chance to escape but in the end Jim was more trapped in the office than anyone. It’s like a horror movie.

Great content! As a long time fan of the show, this video showcased so many clips and details that I didn't know previously. The video was also well edited and the pacing was great with the example clips thrown in there; it was never dry nor too reliant on source material. I see a bright future for this channel!

I invited my roommate to watch the series and he just dismissed me immediately. I love this docu of the mocku because it perfectly described why I loved the show even if I was the only one in my community watching it: “when you remove the comedy in it, you will find the heart of every character managing to find beauty in ordinary things”. I’m just sad I could not attend any of the show’s cast and crew’s press conferences. Happy to read co-fans’ comments. 😊
