An amazing perspective! FILMING Santee River Dam at Lake Marion, SC
As far as Dams go, Santee River Dam at Lake Marion, SC doesn't appear to be much on the surface but when I sent the drone up for a look, I was blown away by the amazing perspective of this 8 mile long marvel of engineering!

Yoo I just walked all the way down the dam for the first time earlier today. That’s a long walk but it’s worth it when you crest that hill at the very end. Pretty sure the swirly third path close to the river is gone and there’s a lot more water. I saved a baby turtle from the road too! ❤️

Yes that is a hike and a half one could wear out a pair of sneakers there and back. I kayaked up that canal to make it to the end and that took some time too!

@@stevetannerstock I was wearing my favorite shoes converse hi tops. You can’t imagine the pain, then it started pouring rain when I was halfway back. I was almost crawling lol
