Poor fella hasn’t seen a clean pair of shoes yet. Can never make it to the end 😭

My heart is full! I used to shine my dad's shoes voluntarily and I absolutely loved it! Sadly, the last honest shoe shiner's I've seen was at the airport about 20 years ago. I honestly thought this was a lost art and my heart is full to know that it's a tradition that hasn't been lost. Sadly, this has become a "throw away" society. Most folks just buy cheap shoes and then toss them to buy another pair of cheap shoes. What they don't know is that a good pair of real leather shoes can last almost a lifetime as long as there are folks like you to refresh them. Sure, the shoes can eventually need soles replaced, but there are still artisans that do that too, God bless them. So, literally, a good pair of leather shoes can last a lifetime with good care and repair. This takes a great shoe shiner to care for them and a great cobbler to repair them. It makes my heart happy to see that both trades are still around. My heart would break if either trade died out.

As always thank you for providing me a guaranteed sleep before a very hectic work week. So relieved your shoulder is better. You are indeed the artist of the shoeshine. No one can match. This week my responsibility for decision making makes it necessary for a good night’s sleep. You are always in my prayers Angelo.👍🙏🏼

Love the new setting. I always wondered why you didn't have bulk laces to replace some of the war-torn ones. I liked the darker ones on this pair. Have you ever considered switching the overlap on one shoe when lacing so the shoes "mirror" each other?

*I didn't see any "3 sided brush" lol 😅🤣🤣🤣! I scrolled the video a few times, and didn't see one. He only had one sided brushes, and no sand paper. Yea the brushes he has vary in softness and hardness. The stiffer ones help to remove harder to clean stains. Those are indeed useful and the softer brushes too!*

Those boots look like danners hunting boots... so he will clean pretty much any material on a boot, not just leather?
