Four most important questions: 1 - Origin - The big bang seems to have been the origin of the universe. 2 - Meaning - Meaning is subjective 3 - Morality - Morality is something that social animals come up with 4 - Destiny - Eventually I'll die. Pretty easy.

Pretty easy except for Origin. The important term there being "seems." Our current working model is fine. It's based on what we can observe and test, not what we can't, however, I wouldn't treat it the way Christians treat the gospels. Nothing wrong with speculating what might be over a horizon, so long as you don't conflate it with fact. Of course, there `being` a horizon, is in no way evidence of irrational god concepts.

If you ask theoretical physicists what was before the BB, most will say they don't know or some have some ideas but the idea that the BB came from "nothing" is far from consensus. When physicists talk about the beginning, they are talking about the beginning of the known universe. Probably most people would say that something came from nothing especially Christians. I personally think it seems likely that there was something before the BB and that existence is eternal. The concept of no thing is a bit of an oxymoron because what would have been the thing that didn't exist. There has to be an is for there to be an is not. What does nonexistence mean without existence? What we do know is that we exist.

House Bill 1403 would require Mississippi school districts to offer Bible classes to high school students. Like Miles noted, it would only be offered as an elective. (2019) “We’re not forcing it on anyone," said Miles. "We’re not trying to hound anyone over the head with the Bible or trying to baptize anyone or do anything that they don’t wanna do.” Kentucky passed a similar bill in 2017, and that’s what prompted Miles’ constituents to reach out and ask for the same in the Magnolia State. But not everyone seems to think it’s a good idea. Source - WLBT3 Bible class as an elective in schools proposed by Mississippi lawmaker

@ScienceNow- Yes, atheists offer no hope. only death. So sad! The power of the resurrection is evidence that God/Jesus Christ is who he says he is. Jesus Christ is risen indeed! Jesus Christ is the King of Glory! The only name by which a man can be saved. Glory to his name forever and forever. Nothing but the blood of Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

"You don't see slavery in the New Testament." Wrong! “Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything, not only while being watched and in order to please them, but wholeheartedly, fearing the Lord. Whatever your task, put yourselves into it, as done for the Lord and not for your masters, since you know that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you serve the Lord Christ. For the wrongdoer will be paid back for whatever wrong has been done, and there is no partiality. (Colossians 3:22-25) “Masters, treat your slaves justly and fairly, for you know that you also have a Master in heaven.” (Colossians 4:1) “Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, in singleness of heart, as you obey Christ; not only while being watched, and in order to please them, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. Render service with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not to men and women, knowing that whatever good we do, we will receive the same again from the Lord, whether we are slaves or free. And, masters, do the same to them. Stop threatening them, for you know that both of you have the same Master in heaven, and with him there is no partiality.” (Ephesians 6:5-9) “Let all who are under the yoke of slavery regard their masters as worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and the teaching may not be blasphemed. Those who have believing masters must not be disrespectful to them on the ground that they are members of the church; rather they must serve them all the more, since those who benefit by their service are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these duties.” (Timothy 6:1-2) “Tell slaves to be submissive to their masters and to give satisfaction in every respect; they are not to talk back, not to pilfer, but to show complete and perfect fidelity, so that in everything they may be an ornament to the doctrine of God our Savior.” (Titus 2:9-10) “Slaves, accept the authority of your masters with all deference, not only those who are kind and gentle but also those who are harsh.” (Peter 2:18)

Jesus & authors of the Bible believed slavery is moral & even suggested how to buy, sell & beat the slaves. No Bible verse explicitly says slavery is immoral & call for its abolishment. Modern Western laws are NOT based on Biblical values, otherwise slavery would still be a moral practice. Secular thinking ended slavery after about 1800 years of Biblical values failure to do so.

If I was a fiction writer, I could write a novel that ended with unresolved issues and even predictions, and that would be a kind of a cliff-hanger. Then suppose I wrote a sequel novel in which all those predictions I made up somehow get resolved. That’s exactly how I view the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. One man-made book with “prophesies” and a follow-up man-made book with resolutions of those prophesies. Two man-made books of pure fiction.

FFS Questions for universe creator believers 1. Where was the creator thing, when there was nowhere? 2. If it exists it must have substance. What is it made of? 3. Where did it get the stuff it made itself and everything else from? 4. How did it create the first thing? (Step by step instructions as religious superstition demands of science). Here is the obvious evidence that all gods are imaginary. One two part question for people with superstitious religious beliefs. (A) If someone told you (or you read in a book) that the sun used matches and candles to spread light and heat at night. Would it be obvious to you, how self evidently illogical, irrational, unreasonable and nonsensical this idea was? (Would you understand why)? (B) If someone told you (or you read in a book) that something capable of creating a universe and everything in it, used puny humans and books to spread accurate information. Would it be obvious to you, how self evidently illogical, irrational, unreasonable and nonsensical this idea was? (Would you understand why)? All gods are imaginary. No people = No imagined gods.
