That dial is beautifully designed. If they had used a different minute hand with a slightly bigger circle that framed the hour window it would have been perfect. You could see the hour through the hole!

Beautiful looking piece for sure. I'd be a bit concerned about the long-term reliability of a Chinese-made jump hour though but none-the-less a very cool piece.

That did cross my mind too. But I think, like other Chinese watches, that it would last long enough to feel you got value from it.

I dunno, a Mr Jones jumping hour watch isn't that much more expensive and you get a really interesting, artist lead dial presentation there. The one thing that must be said is that this case design is better than theirs, but that's probably just personal preference.

I really like the look of the Mr Jones watches but I can get over their case designs. It is a shame as I would like to own one.

Hi james great video did not like the colour of the watch but l haven't heard of a jumping hour watch before for me it seems a very good design as I'm dyslexic and when tiered can misread the watch face.this watch is easier because it shows you the hour in its own box then the 5/10/15/20etc in number format so it's very clear. I do miss read my watchs from time to time and have been late for things. I think this a big positive thing for this watch and maybe worth giving feedback to the manufacturer if they might not realise this . there are a lot of dyslexic people in the world and I will now find a jumping hour watch I like to go into my collection.thanks a lot John.

Very interesting and good looking, i would like to see a bigger hour window, it's probably fine for those with sharp vision but a bit small for those whose vision is not that great,or who wear glasses

my third salmon dial is my mont blanc heritage gmt. looks nice but i would not have overpaid for it if i found out about these two watches first.@@WATCHingJames

I've had my eye on this, and another Pierre Paulin watch for a while. However, both have mineral crystals; I wish they'd spend a bit more money and put sapphire crystals on them. I wouldn't even mind paying a bit more for it.

I wish the hole in the hand was bigger and you could see the hour through the hand like on my grail the omega de ville jump hour, also sapphire and a bit more effort on the case and it would have been a fantastic watch

One of my favourite watches is my "replica" franck muller crazy hours. It's a very legible watch. I think I'd need to put my glasses on to read the hour on this paulin. Shame, 'cos I do love a jumping hour.
