Never did I think I would have this much fun on an E-Bike! Believe it or not, you do get a decent amount of exercise while riding the bike if you work at it. Obviously, you can make the bike do all the work if you want, but that is not fun.
The fat tires on this bike made me wonder how well they would do on long bike rides, but they really make it stable. Off-Road the bike performs great for the average rider. This is not a bike that you will be jumping hills with much. The Ranger is a heavy bike and that really seems to keep it planted to the ground.
When I started looking at electric bikes, they were around $3,500 for a brand name that was sold in town. They have since gone up and that pushed me to look for a more affordable brand. Velowave has filled that need for me and done well. I enjoy everything about the bike and do not plan on replacing any of the components. Some people might find the need for upgrades if you are a hard-core biker.
Our family shares this bike and loves to ride on and off-road together. This has been a great purchase and we are looking at buying another one soon.

No noise when riding other than a slight whine from the electric motor. Very quiet. Off road, you get some chain slap as you would from any bike.
Always wondered why these e bikes can Have a Built in charging system based on regeneration when your peddling them

it took a professenal biker to power a microwave to powering a bike is so much more physically entensive

You can buy this bike with an extra battery. See here - www.velowavebikes.com/products/velowave-26-fat-tire-electric-mountain-ebike I bet few would buy it. I would not want to carry it with me and they recharge within a small period of time. But it is there if needed.
20 to 40 miles that's it not 400 that's 600
Horrible customer service and what I mean horrible I mean non-existent
