I would do unspeakable things for a Juicebox feature on Kevin's Trueno. The ole "TEKNO TEKNO TEKNO" was like a portal into another dimension when all I knew was the western interpretation of JDM, and here are these Corollas with impeccable style, and tiny wheels and weird mirrors and black tape over the Levin headlights and they had all these greainy pictures from magazines, it was so obscure and niche and different. To this day, two of the best 86s of all time, anywhere, at least in my book

Thanks to you and mike for sharing your experience. Just regular blokes enjoying wrenching and driving their cars. Loved the talk about keeping a bit of a budget in mind and still having fun. For the most part ;) Still following your channel with zeal from the Netherlands and enjoying my little classic Zundapp bikes and river cruiser here. Same deal, different kick. There not shit life choices... I had 6 Vauxhall nova's, Cavaliers calibra's mk1 astra mk2 astra tigra's xr3i, lots of other random 90's shitbox's in my mid 20,s Then sold up bought a new at the time golf kids ect...."tryna" grow up😂 hated it and the clio and the polo even the beemer.... Now i have a vectra b sri 130 "gsi rep" daily and bought myself a arden blue corsa b gsi rep with a genuine c16xe for fun..... never been happier, I have a good missus behind me even tho I'm 40 soon. Enjoy your life, enjoy your cars because one day it's over. Bit of a rant🙃🙃😂😂. Love ya vids boys, more rings lad!!

In NZ that corolla wagon would be a BZ touring corolla. Same as a Carib wagon but different bodies. Black top 20v and 6 speed from factory. The G wagon was a cheaper model but still do a good job. Cool cars!

I hear what you're saying. I race 206 GTI180s and when I was looking for a new build I grabbed the cheapest and dirtiest one I could find because I knew I was going to bomb it. But now I've been doing bodywork and paint and now I want to do more bodywork and that's not what the build is about and I suck at bodywork so it makes me angry that it's not perfect and it makes me angry that I get angry at something so stupid. Race car problems.

We might head down for a look, that's Evan's childhood build, which he will eventually get around to restoring, the videos are about a year behind still, if not more but they do jump quite considerably due to the huge gaps between content filming.

Both these cars are driven regularly at 100% on track. Neither are show ponies and were built to be enjoyed and driven, that's the whole point of ae86 for me.
